Everyone knows her as Sienna Flower.

Her curves and long lashes tease and taunt from her very own billboard where the desert meets the Las Vegas Strip. She’s the hottest stripper in town, known for her sultry and indecent moves coupled with her virginal eyes.
She’s a heady and unique combination, and a mystery to all who come to see her.
Sienna captivates crowds nightly at the Electric Tunnel, leaving them wanting to know more about the sensual enigma. But no one ever sees beyond the heavily guarded stripper onstage. She is Sienna Flower 24/7.
No one other than her closest friend and boss, Asher Peterson, who helped turn a young and frightened girl into who Sienna is today. Together they created the sexual illusion known as Sienna Flower. They will go to any lengths to protect her image, which is why Sienna is convinced she must remain unattached and alone.
Like everyone else in Vegas, Sienna is hiding something and playing a role. A good girl in her former life, she was raised to be obedient and accepting of her fate, but there are some circumstances no one should be expected to accept. She escaped to a world light years away from the one she was subjected to…the Electric Tunnel.
Now she can never be anything other than Sienna Flower. Not only would she be hurt, but everyone around her would suffer the consequences.
That is, until she meets private detective Carson Graham, the dark and mysterious ex-FBI agent who watches her dance every weekend. With his dark hair and chocolate-brown eyes, Carson begins to heat Sienna’s heart and body, melting away the layers and secrets. Sienna doesn’t want to get attached to Carson, but when another man surfaces and starts hunting her down, bringing out the scars of her old life, she can’t help but seek comfort in Carson’s protection.
With everyone trading on the secrets of her past, Sienna finds herself caught in an awful web of lies. Her ultimate fear is hurting her friends at the Tunnel, but she doesn’t know who to trust. Namely, Carson. Is he good? Or bad? Does she have the luxury of finding out?

Electrified by Rachel Blaufeld is a story unlike I have ever read before.  If you are looking for an easy romance, a bad boy rocker, a military alpha or a brooding CEO, this is not the book for you.  This book deals with some issues that are raw and emotional, and the reader is drawn into the story, layer by layer until you are so invested, you are right there next to Sienna, giving her the moral support that she so desperately seeks.  This book was a 3.5 star read for me and I would recommend it to anyone who is looking for something different from the normal romance we all hate to love.

Sienna is one of the most famous, sought after strippers in Las Vegas, dancing at the off the strip club Electrified Tunnel.  And at first glance she is the stripper that you picture in your mind, beautiful, killer body & dance moves to bring men to their knees but she is anything but typical.  A stripper who barely interacts with the crowd off stage, doesn't give lap dances, even if they were requested, never participates the antics of the VIP rooms in the back, and makes sure to guide the younger, newer girls at the club to being successful but smart with the money that they earn.  She is hiding from a past that noone truly knows the details of, not even her closest friend Asher, with whom she is part owner in the club with.

"Being the center of attraction at Vegas's most popular adult entertainment venue wasn't only a business move, but also one for protection.  Her role as Sienna existed to keep her secure and embodying Sienna mean she didn't get attached to anyone"

That is until she took a chance, broke her rules, and actively walked onto the club floor to approach the intriguing man that came every weekend to watch her dance and quickly leave, Carson.  Carson, an ex-FBI agent turned PI is working a case that has him so tangled in knots that he needs a breather from the missing person seach, and he finds that within the walls of Electricied Tunnel, where is quickly becomes physically enamoured with their star dancer Sienna.  It is only after meeting with her for coffee one day, against both of their better judgements, that he realizes she is an enigma to her trade.  Sienna isn't your typical stripper and Carson, a man who prides himself and his career on being able to read people, is unable to get a read on her.  Even though he is unable to figure Sienna out, he is drawn to her even more as he spends time with her, having thoughts of a life he never thought he would ever want.

As the reader turns each page, you get a glimpse into the life the Sienna left behind in New York one fateful night when she jumped on a bus to Vegas and never looked back.  A life controlled by the faith of a religion that abandoned her when she needed it most, in her darkest moment when everyone else around her ignored her need for help.  The mystery behind her leaving and the case the Carson is unable to solved play out in the plot side by side until they almost intertwine, having the reader make guesses as to what will happen next, often guesses that are off the mark completely.

Blog Tour & Review: Unable to Resist by Cassie Graham

Ann is haunted by a past that won’t let go. The secrets lurking in Arizona are too much to handle, making a move to Nashville her best chance of survival. Her bakery is enough to keep her mind busy during the day, but the night brings nightmares that threaten to rip her in two. Tired of just living life rather than experiencing it, she’s ready to fight her demons and emerge the victor.

Only—she doesn’t know how to do that alone.

Duane has a lot on his plate. A lawyer for a prestigious law firm and a ranch owner, he hardly has enough time to breathe, let alone date. But all of that changes when he meets Ann.

A chance encounter at a bar brings them together, but it’s fate that shoves them into each other’s lives for reasons they will soon unveil together.
Can Ann open her heart and let Duane in?
Unable to Resist is a story about love, loss and finding healing in unlikely places.

He pulls my hand to his chest, just above his heart, and I feel the strong, steady beat. “My heart only knows one thing for sure.”
I look at our hands, a smile playing on my lips. “And, what’s that?”
He puts a finger under my chin and brings my face up to meet his eyes. “That I want you to be mine. I don’t want to share, Red.”
He looks intently at my face for a moment without wavering, confirming the intensity in the room. “I need to hear you say it,” he breathes out, finally.
I suddenly feel incredibly wanted and my confidence level boosts to an all-time high.
“I,” my lips kiss his chest, “am,” I lightly lick his neck, “yours.”
Duane let’s out an animalistic growl and flips me onto my back, thoroughly ending our conversation with hungry kisses.

"I am so close to drowning; I don't know how much longer I can take treading I the sea of my past."

Cassie Graham spins a story that has a little bit of everything a girl yearns for in a good book, a mystery to solve, awesome girlfriends who are your family, drama, and of course no good book is complete without a hot guy that we all can't resist!  Unable To Resist is a 3.5 star read for me and I would definitely recommend that everyone pick up this one!

Ann is a feisty, head-strong, woman who owns a bakery in Nashville, but what you see on the surface is carefully crafted to hide the pain and loss that she buried deep inside.  It is only after the nightmares of her fathers death become even more poignant and telling, that she decides to hire a lawyer to look into his case, that after 7 years is still open with no leads and that is when the reader is introduced to the sexy cowboy/lawyer Duane.

Ann is so closed off from relationships and love because she is unable to let go of the pain from her past and really move on, both from the death of her father, and from the boy who she thought would be her forever, Kyle.  Ann is instantly attracted to Duane, something that hasn't happened since Kyle, but immediately puts him in the no-touch zone because he is her lawyer.

"That's right.  He's just a man.  I can find another one.  Another guy who isn't my damn lawyer."

Duane, who lives to practice law by day and work on his hay farm by night, is dragged out to a bar by his younger brother Aiden when he instantly falls for Ann, before even knowing her name.  After he shows up at her door for their initial lawyer/client consultation, he also puts her in the friend only zone, because even though he hasn't had this type of attraction for a woman since he can remember, he won't cross the line into unprofessional territory.

Only when there is a break in her father's case and Ann is forced to return to her childhood home of Arizona to speak with a potential suspect do the true feelings of both Ann and Duane come fully to the surface and they both act on them, in some very innocent ways.  The story of how their feelings begin and grow and evolve over the course of the story had me swooning on more than one occasion.

I loved the characters in this book and the different dynamics that played between them.  I loved the relationship that Liv, Mia and Ann had together, true girlfriends who would do absolutely anything for each other.  Jason and Ann had an extremely special bond, that no matter how much time passed when they didn't see each other they picked up right where they left off.  And of course the gravitational pull between Ann and Duane.  There were times during the plot that I had the urge to yell at my kindle to tell Duane to ditch the gentleman act and get down to business.

"You are worthy.  You are meant to love and to be loved.  Mia and I both adore you. It's time to start believing in yourself."

Ann is Cassie’s middle name and Duane is Cassie’s husband’s middle name.

Originally, Unable to Resist was set in Seattle, and Duane wasn’t a lawyer, he was an author.

Cassie Graham is first and foremost, a wife and mother. She has one crazy daughter and a just as nutters husband that she loves dearly. She lives in sunny--all be it, scorching Arizona, where the summers are ridiculously hot and the winters are perfection. She'd pick winter any day.
Cassie went to school to be a teacher, but quit to become a proud military wife in 2010. During that time, she found her passion to write. Being a loud and proud choirgirl in school, she needed another creative outlet and writing seemed like the perfect fit.
If Cassie isn't writing, she's more than likely cooking for her family or has her nose buried deep in a book. She finds inspiration in all things. Movies, music, and life fuel her characters’ lives, and she wouldn't have it any other way.
