Blog Tour: Uncivilized by Sawyer Bennett

Erotic Adult Contemporary

**Warning: This book is a wild, sexy beast of a read. 18+**
Putting a woman on her knees before me is what really makes my cock hard. I fuck with dominant force and absolute control. I demand complete surrender from my conquests.
Savage man, loner, warrior… I am dangerous at my core. I have lived amidst the untamed wild of the rainforest, in a society that reveres me and where every woman falls before me in subjugation.
Now I’ve been discovered. Forced to return to a world that I have forgotten about and to a culture that is only vaguely familiar to my senses.
Dr. Moira Reed is an anthropologist who has been hired to help me transition back into modern society. It’s her job to smooth away my rough edges… to teach me how to navigate properly through this new life of mine. She wants to tame me.
She’ll never win.
I am wild, free and raw, and the only thing I want from the beautiful Moira Reed is to fuck her into submission.
She wants it, I am certain.
I will give it to her soon.
Yes, very soon, I will become the teacher and she will become my student. And when I am finished showing her body pleasure like no other, she’ll know what it feels like to be claimed by an uncivilized man.

Uncivilized by Sawyer Bennett is a story about finding ones roots and learning to embrace them with your whole heart because once you do that, you are opening your heart and you life to infinite possibilities.  I am a big fan of Sawyer Bennett's books, having read and loved her Off Series so I took a chance on this unconventional story and I am happy that I did. This book was a 4 star read for me and I highly recommend it to everyone.  This is a definite one-click book, with a strong, dominant alpha male and an equally strong, independent but subservient female.  You will not be disappointed in this read!  Great job Sawyer!!

Zach is such an enigma.  He was born a sweet innocent, yet transformed into a man of lethal danger and steely reserve.  Raw edges, scarred flesh, and a rapacious appetite for life.  He took the hand he was dealt and yes, he flourished."

Dr Moira Reed is an anthropologist who is sent on a very unconventional mission.  She goes into the Amazon to find a tribe where a white man has lived among the brown inhabitants as one of their own since he was 7 years old. Her mission is to bring him back to the states and assist him in assimilating into modern culture so that he can return to his family, the god-father that has spent his life and money searching for him.  Zacharias Easton only knows the ways of the tribe he has lived with since he was a boy and lost his missionary parents.  He spends his days naked, hunting for food, protecting his fellow tribe members, conversing with his adopted father and engaging in emotionless sex with the tribal woman.  Leaving his home for the states is not something that he wants to do, but at the request of his adoptive father, he goes with Moira with the promise that he will return to his tribe after a year in the modern world.  Assuming that he will never want to stay in the States, he is in for more than he bargained for when he moves in with Moira.

Zach is dominant by nature and it is that dominance and the confidence in which he carries himself, that attracts Moira to him in a sexual way.  It seemed to begin innocently while she is still in the Amazon, when she watches him take a woman on her hands and knees in front of the entire tribe and escalates as she masterbates in front of him not once but twice.  It is Zach's continual questions regarding the sexual acts of people in the modern world that constantly put Moira on edge, walking a fine line between staying professional and giving in to her desires. When she can no longer fight her attraction to Zach any longer, she begins a sexual relationship with him, while still teaching him the ways of the modern world that he is so unaccustomed to.

Zach and Moira are connected in a way that Sawyer Bennett writes so eloquently, the reader is able to feel the emotion beneath them each and every time they have sex.  It is those emotions that seep into Zach's psyche, causing him to question everything that he had known in the Amazon and whether or not he will ever be able to leave her when his year time-frame is up.  Moira explores feelings and sex with Zach that she has never engaged in throughout her life and the more time they spend together both in and out of bed, the more she falls for her "uncivilized man."

"I look across the table at Moira and am humbled at the way that she gets me.  I first thought she would try to change me into something I'm not capable of but, instead, she celebrates my diversity from this life.  She appreciates it."

It is when Zach makes a significant decision about his future and about Moira that everything comes crashing down, causing him to return home to his tribe, leaving Moira and his heart behind.  His initial thoughts focus solely on the tribe and their safety; and once he is home with his adopted father his thoughts focus on Moira and how he left her, how he feels for her and his heart breaking.  Will they find their way back to each other?  You will have to read to find out!

Uncivilized was a modern day Tarzan meet Jane romance.  It was much more than just a romance, it was truly eye opening and very steamy!  I would give this book a big 4 stars!  I have always been a fan of Sawyer Bennett but this book made me realize that she can probably write about anything and I would love it because her writing is just that amazing. This book is told in dual POV's of Moira and Zach.  It does have an HEA but it will be a very bumpy and exciting journey to get there.  It is a very uncivilized tale of finding yourself and who you truly are meant to be.

Moira is an anthropologist and is given a job to go into the Amazon to bring home Zach who was believed to have been dead but found to be living among the Caraica Tribe.  She is to bring him back with her and teach him about the way a normal man should be.  But what she finds when she arrives in the Amazon is way beyond her imagination.
She realizes Zach has made his home there, that the Caracian Tribe is his family and Zach isn't going to leave without a fight.  She also realizes the way the men are in the tribe, they are all very dominant and it stirs something inside her that she has never felt before, especially when she finally meets Zach.

Zach was lost in the Amazon when his parents died there.  He was only 7 years old, a tribe found him and raised him as there own...it wasn't easy try to fit in but he made it work and found that he could survive and has been there for many years.  When he finds that his godfather wants him to come home and learn the ways of a civilized human being, it doesn't sit well with him.  He will do what is asked for 1 year but he has not intention of staying away from his family in Caraica.

When Moira and Zach settle in at Moira's home sparks will fly and its not as easy for Moira because she can't fall into any kind of relationship with Zach this is her job...she can't let that go down the drain just because of an attraction. Not only Zach has different way of life and is used to woman submitting to his every whim..but Moira can bring here self to do that. But Zach is determined to get Moira to submit to him because that is all he knows, he wants Moira to teach him
about sex... and boy oh boy do they learn about sex together.

After our conversation last night, when he demanded I teach him about sex, unfortunately sex is all I can think about now. He saw my body's reaction to him.  He knows I want him to take me, just as I wanted it while I watched him take that woman in the glow of the firelight.  But I made it clear.... I can't. --MOIRA

I'm finding I like my new vocabulary.  Cock, pussy, and fuck.  My three new favorite English words.
I want to shove my cock in her pussy and fuck her hard-- ZACH

When they finally give into what they want.. there is always consequences.  Moira will find out she can never change Zach into to being civilized.  Zach will find that he can't change Moira into being uncivilized.  But can they make it work and change there lives forever or will it all be for nothing?

"I want you to tell me what the greatest thing is you've learned about me so far since you took me from my home."
Her upper back rises slightly, not from any fight left in her, but because she inhales deeply.  When she lets it all out, she tells me with conviction and a hint of sadness, "I learned that you.... Zacharias Easton... are and uncivilized man."--- ZACH and MOIRA

With twists and tragedy this story will keep you on your toes.  I was skeptical about reading this book too believe me but I am so freaking happy I read it because of who wrote it.. do the same I promise you won't be disappointed!

Thanks Sawyer for a great story and I look forward to much more in the future!
