Chase Bennett is the owner and CEO of Bennett Enterprises. He is very arrogant and believes he is more important and busy than all his employees including his assistant. He feels like she should feel privileged to work for him. Hence why he goes through a lot of them.

 

But all of that changes on Eden’s first day. They immediately butt heads and Eden (the new assistant) calls Chase out on a lot of things. But underneath all the tension is simmering heat.

 

Both of them are headstrong, stubborn, and strong characters. But eventually they start to see the value in working together. I enjoyed this quick, steamy read.

When Eden gets placed as Chase's assistant, she doesn't realize what she's in for.  Chase is an arrogant CEO who just lost another assistant.  The two clash from the onset.   

This book is fun and a quick read.  You'll love the chemistry and the story.
