BOUND BY A PROMISE

Aleatha Romig

Release Date: October 14

Arranged marriage, enemies to lovers, Mafia/cartel romance

As the only daughter of the Kansas City capo, at eighteen years of age, I was given to the son of my father’s consigliere, a man who was expected to accomplish great things for the famiglia. Things didn’t go the way we planned.

There wasn’t love.

My husband was a traitor, taking part in a coup against the famiglia.

My husband is dead.

I’m free.

Until the fateful night my brother, our new capo, informs me that I’ve once again been promised in marriage. He explains that as a childless widow and the daughter of the late capo dei capi, I am desired—requested.

Aléjandro Roríguez is the son of the leader of the Roríguez cartel. My brother married a woman from the cartel, securing the Mafia/cartel alliance. He says that it’s now my turn.

I’ve only met my future husband a few times, but I know without a doubt that I don’t like him. Loving him is impossible. I’ve lived in a marriage without love. I won’t do it again.

Aléjandro lives a dangerous existence.

Death saved me once before.

Maybe it will again.

Have you been Aleatha’d?

TILL DEATH DO US PART is a stand-alone dangerous Mafia/cartel romance in the new “Brutal Vows” series. Each arranged-marriage story is filled with the suspense, intrigue, and heat you’ve come to expect from New York Times bestselling author Aleatha Romig.

I am absolutely LOVING this mafia/cartel series.

Dante is second in line to his brother Dario, the capo dei capi. He's always known his role and never really yearned for more. Until he met Camila, his sister in law's sister. He knew immediately that there was something there.

Camila is determined to not have her fate decided for her. She knows she loves Dante and she will stop at nothing to have him as hers.

There are outside forces still trying to disrupt the merger between the Mafia and the cartel. Will the Mafia and Cartel let them marry?

Like I said, I loved this story. I couldn't put it down. And I literally can't wait until the next book comes out! You should read this whole series, you won't be disappointed!

Man! This series is freaking amazing!

I enjoyed catching back up with the characters from earlier books in this mafia/cartel series. I loved that Dante knew how he felt for Camila but held back due to her age - but he still allowed himself to be placed in positions where he could act as her protector when she was in danger.

Camila was a strong mfc. She wanted her independence and the freedom to choose who/what she wanted having seen the other women in her family have no say in their future. The person she sets her eyes on is the one person she feels doesn't want her.

With danger lurking from rival "families", the alliances put on jeopardy, can Dante and Camila find a way to prove to them they could help hold things together?

This story was one that held my attention (and had me thinking of it while at work). It was fast-paced, addicting, and had me scrolling through the pages quicker than I'd like (because I got to the end so fast). If you are a fan of this trope then you will NOT be disappointed if you one-click now. You NEED this one!
