Release Day Blitz and Giveaway: Rush Into You by Brianna Lee

I had it all.
I was captain of the cheerleading squad and star of the debate team.
I was smart and popular and living the dream.
Until that night.
That one fateful night changed everything.
Now everyone hates me—everyone.
They stay far away.
It’s safer.
Drugs numb the pain, and sex pays for the drugs.
Being alive is my punishment.
Then I meet him.
Ryker Rosse.
Tattoos, sinful body…and his eyes. His eyes are irresistible.
He is captivating. He treats me with respect.
He sees me.
Ryker brings happiness into my life of regret, but I don’t know if I deserve happiness.
Some mistakes can never be forgiven.

Or can they?

No matter how many times I'd cried about my situation,
it didn't matter because somewhere deep inside me I considered it punishment.
The life I lived was my purgatory, and I was only alive so that I could suffer for all my sins.
This was how it was supposed to be.

Rush into you was a heart breaking love story, but it does get an HEA thankfully!  It was told in dual POV of Gabby and Ryker.  This story will pull you in from the beginning and keep you suctioned to it for the whole story.  There are some hard scenes to read in this book, and I wanted to commend the author for writing them so amazingly well that you felt the emotions from the characters while reading it.  I will have to say I am big fan of Brianna Lee now and will be looking out for more from her in the future.  I would give this story a 5 star!  Bring some tissues, and some extra panties because it will make ya cry but also make ya melt in the heat Ryker will set off in your body.  Thanks for a great story Brianna Lee!

Gabby is a broken girl with a tormented past because of a tragedy that may not have taken her life in the physical sense but it destroyed her in the mental sense.  She lives in a small town and is constantly berated for this tragedy and learns to drown herself in alcohol and drugs.  She knows this is her life now and nothing will ever change she just hopes one day she will dwindle away so far that she doesn't have to take her own life although she has thought of doing just that.  Will one day make a difference in her whole messed up psyche when the stranger named Ryker talks to her but not in a menacing tone or berating tone but sweet and caring tone change her life for good?  Can he make her see that life is worth living and that she needs help?  Is he too late?    Even if she gets help and moves on will he be there to catch her after the second biggest fall of her life or was it just to good to be true?  Even after Gabby gets her life clean and she is with Ryker can she trust him with her secret or will it finally destroy what they built together.  Is Ryker strong enough to keep Gabby out of her own head and on the straightened path her life is on or will she only bring him down too?

Pick this up right away, there are many twists and turns and you will love this story to pieces!  Can't wait for more books from this author!

Here is a little insight into the book! Enjoy!

Gabriella:  The sound of Ryker's rich laughter melted a tiny fragment of ice surrounding my heart, and I wanted to let him squeeze through the necessary walls I'd built to protect myself.  A wide smile crept across my face as I listened to his musical voice.  His laugh was my new favorite song.  I joined in with his contagious laughter, but stopped abruptly.  My own laugh sounded foreign to me after years of not finding anything funny.

My insides fluttered at the sound of Ryker's voice.  A hard shell with a sweet middle.  I wanted to take a bite out of him and see what he tasted like.  I bit my lip, and mentally reeled myself in.  I didn't need to make a fool out of myself.

I wanted the kind of love that was hardcore.  I wanted the all or nothing kind of love that I could feel all the way down to my toes.  Where every inch of my being knew that the guy was mine forever.  That I was his forever.  I wanted to be in a relationship where we'd run to each other first with any kind of news, good or bad.  A person who knew just the right thing to do at just the right time, and who knew the right thing to say, or when to say nothing. I wanted some who was fucking real... his imperfections would make him perfect, his scars would tell a story, and his eyes would tell the truth.  I wanted a soul shaking, toe curling, mind blowing love.  I wanted to be his first choice.

Ryker:  I didn't know what it was that attracted me so much to her.  I'd admit she looked a little rough, and sadness seemed to consume her, but underneath it all was an obvious natural beauty.  And her eyes. Those hazel eyes were downright beautiful, and when she looked at me... they lit up.  They filled with hope.

"I knowbabe.  I'm just going home for the night, that's all.  I'm not leaving you.  We're still us.  Like I said, you call me, and I'll be here.  I don't want you to regret telling me what happened because I pressured you into it, but, if you want to be with me as I want to be with you, then we can't keep doing this shit for years to come.  And I plan on being with you for years, Gabby.  You're my girl.  Always.  And no fucked up past is going to change that."

His hand squeezed my hips.  "I won't lie, I definitely thought about having sex with you.  That was the first thought that popped into my head when I saw you.  I wanted to know what you looked like naked.  All I could imagine was ripping your fucking clothes off with my teeth and finding out how many ways I could make you bend for me.  But when you looked at me, I could see the pain in your eyes, and I knew you didn't need that shit from me."
