Blissful Surrender is the third book in the Bliss series. Although its a series it can be read as a stand-alone, but I highly recommend reading the first 2 books as well--Temporary Bliss and True Bliss. Sean was introduced in book one as a friend with benefit with the main character but this is his story and wow does she tell a great story for him! I truly loved all the books in this series but this has to be my favorite so far! I would give it a solid 4 stars! It is told in a dual POV of Sean and Sam. This is a BDSM book of sorts but that isn't its main focus which I was happy about.. I like a controlling man but I like the stories to have some depth as well and this definitely had the perfect depth I was looking for. You will want to have Sean laying you over his lap in his big red chair by the time you are done reading this story.
Sean and Sam were together for a long time and one sudden moment Sam broke it off and disappeared. Sean was devastated and angry that she could leave him at a time in his life that he needed her the most. But Sam had to get away she wasn't sure she could handle the submissive part of her lifestyle any longer. 10 years pass and their paths finally cross again. Can they hold back the love they once shared? New complications come into play.. and neither Sam nor Sean will be able to turn there backs on their obligations that they have set for themselves in their new lives to please one another, but do they realize they don't have to put there new lives on hold that they could be happy again? Can Sam be a submissive again? Will she realize she can't live without him and also realize she loved submitting to him? Can he let the past go and forgive her for walking away?
Get all the books in this series you won't be disappointed! Oh and fall needs to get here quickly because I really need to read the next story in this series Dr. Noah Taylor's story aka the walking dildo in Finding Bliss.
