Blog Tour and Review: The Lying Season by K.A. Linde

THE LYING SEASON
K.A. Linde
Release Date: February 4
A new second chance standalone office romance from USA Today bestselling author K.A. Linde…
Walking away from Sam Rutherford was the hardest thing I’ve ever done.
It’s been five years since that day, and I’ve given up on looking for love. My focus is on my career. And it’s paid off—I’m successfully managing the reelection for the mayor of New York City.
Then Sam walks into my office as the new legal counsel. Which means I have to see him every single day from now until November. We vow to remain professional, but it’s a small office. The sly glances and his blistering charm are unavoidable.
It all feels so familiar. Too comfortable. After what happened the first time…I should know better.
If I’m not careful, he’ll break my heart all over again.
And I don’t know if I can survive Sam a second time.

Well KA Linde did it again! Fabolous.. Wonderful... Amazing second chance romance and its Lark's story none the less! I would give this story a 4.5 stars and highly recommend to others. I loved that this is a spin off and we get more insight into some of the "crew" members that we didn't get in the other stories!
Lark is living her life how she wants to live it, not how her parents want or her "crew". She is finally happy where she is, but what happens when she comes face to face with a man- Sam- she hasn't seen in 5 years, the same man that broke her heart?
Will Sam and Lark be able to work through there differences and become whole again or was there just too much damage?
Can't wait to see who is up next, Katherine? Hmmmm I am intrigued! Get to one-clicking!
You didn't think you could escape the Upper East Side, did ya? I'm so happy the KA Linde is bringing us another story from the Crew. Trust me when I say that this book does not disappoint, plus we see snippets from other Crew members and enough tantalization of characters outside of the Crew.

As we have met in the Cruel Series, Larkin is campaign manager for Penn's mother, the Mayor of NYC. You see as Larkin struggles with trying to become her own person outside of her families wealth, with undo pressure for her to join them, a crazy ex (that her parents sided with), the stress of running a winning election campaign, the last thing she needs is to run into Sam Rutherford.

It's been 5 years, and as soon as Sam is reintroduced to Larkin old feelings flame to the surface. But there are many obstacles in the way for them to find their path forward.

You'll have to one click to find out what happens. I absolutely loved this refreshing story!
