Title: Accidentally Perfect
Author: Marissa Clarke
Genre: Contemporary Romance
Release Date: February 22nd
Workaholic Lillian Mahoney has given everything to her job. The hugely popular lifestyle show she helped create monopolizes her time, energy, creativity, and anything remotely resembling a life. But all it takes is the show’s womanizing, egomaniac star throwing a massive hissy on live TV to utterly implode Lillian’s career in a New York minute.

Now Lillian’s hiding out in the gorgeous and completely unknown seaside village of Blink, Maine. Out of gas. A stolen wallet. A broken heel. And worse, she’s somehow managed to completely piss off the town’s resident hunk, Caleb Wright. She’ll show that hot, grumpy single father exactly what she’s made of.

But Blink isn’t quite what Lillian expects—and neither is Caleb...or his feisty teen daughter she can't help but love. And while her entire life and career are in shreds, Lillian might just discover what happens when she gives her bad first impression a second chance…
Exclusive Excerpt:
There were good days. There were bad days. And then there was this day.
Lillian Mahoney gritted her teeth as the TV camera moved in closer to the food-prep table. She’d known they’d be filming this segment of Good Day Manhattan outside, but she’d been assured it would be a closed set.
The set was totally not closed.
Since Lillian had created the Living Sharpe brand almost five years ago, she’d forbidden its namesake, lifestyle guru Niles Sharpe, to participate in interviews or make public appearances, and yet here he was, in front of a live audience, with the potential to ruin everything she’d worked so hard to create.
Behind Niles and the show’s host, Sylvia Baynard, a crowd of onlookers had gathered and were all but shoving each other out of the way to get their faces and hand-drawn posters in the shot.
Niles, of course, was loving all of the attention. All the face-to-face fawning from the crowd pushing up against the metal barriers around the tiny stage was like food for a starving man—a starving man who was supposed to be making fondue, not making eyes at every woman in the audience.
She shot a glance at her sister and co-producer, Erin, who looked as horrified as Lillian felt. There was little hope this would end well. She crossed her arms over her ribs protectively. For years she’d protected the Sharpe image as if it were a fragile egg. Now, like Humpty Dumpty, it could come crashing down never to be put together again.
“Salted caramel fondue is one of my favorites during apple-picking season,” Niles said, giving a pretty woman in a tight I heart NY T-shirt leaning over the barricade a wink before grinning at the camera.
Lillian groaned in her head. He hadn’t even known what fondue was until yesterday when they’d practiced this recipe in her kitchen—the kitchen they passed off as his in all their episodes of Living Sharpe
Marissa Clarke is a multi-award-winning, RITA nominated author of romance for adults and teens. She lives on the Texas Gulf Coast with her ever-patient husband, two cantankerous Cairn Terriers, and an abundance of bossy chickens.

When they came to another stream, the Captain and Sarge pulled out the map to get their bearings. Once assured of their direction, the team entered the stream to cross. Without warning the Captain lifted Elyse into his arms and stepped into the stream. “I can cross on my own, Elijah. Is it alright if I call you that?” He liked the sound of his name on her lips and he nodded his head. “I’m hanging onto you till we cross, since I don’t want a replay of yesterday’s antics.” They were mid-stream now. “And we know you can’t follow orders.” “Again, you forget yourself, I don’t take orders,” Elyse replied. Nodding his head, he gave her a long cool look. “Is that so?” He dropped her right into the stream. Elyse initially came up sputtering, snarling, and ready for battle but, instead, she refused to give him the satisfaction. So, she gave him her back and finished the crossing, struggling up the embankment on the other side. She made it up with a helping hand from one of the team, all of whom struggled to squelch their laughter before turning back to glare at the Captain. Elijah had just climbed up the embankment himself and was teetering on the edge. He gave her a wolfish, appreciative smile as his gaze touched on the wet shirt clinging to her curves with her twin peaks enticingly pushing through the thin fabric. Elyse realized the show she was giving him, and with a snarl and a side kick to the chest, she sent him sprawling spread eagle back into the stream. Ignoring the looks of the other men, she strode angrily away, trying desperately to pull the shirt away from the contours of her body. A soaking wet Elijah climbed back up the embankment and stood glaring at Elyse. She turned to face him, and with a sweet smile, said, “Blackbelt.” He pointed his finger at her. “You... I’m going to haul you back and throw your sweet ass back into that ditch.”

Leesa makes her home in the Twin Cities metro area with her husband and her two dogs Rosie and Jax. When she isn’t writing she enjoys gardening, painting, and reading romance novels. She and her husband also enjoy movies, traveling, and entertaining their two grown children along with several beautiful grandchildren. Leesa’s favorite romance authors are Kathleen Woodwiss, Christine Feehan, and Johanna Lindsey. The book’s inspiration came one night from a dream about the characters, a song, and the story around them.

The beginning of my sophomore year in college was off to a rough start.
On the first day of orientation, I had an altercation with an infuriating British dude in a campus bathroom.
(The ladies’ room was out of order. So, I used the men’s room. Don’t judge.)
I got home later that night and realized that the foreign student we were expecting to rent a room in my parents’ house was allergic to our cat.
So, the spare room went to someone else: Caleb—the British guy from the men’s room.
And so it began…my love-hate story with Caleb Yates. Or was it hate-love in that order?

The guy knew how to push every one of my buttons.
Sometimes I’d email him to express my aggravation and disdain.
He’d actually rewrite my own words and send them back to me.
That was the type of infuriating person Caleb was.
So frustrating.
And…
Sometimes incredibly funny and endearingly sweet.
And hot.

He eventually grew on me, and Caleb soon became one of my best friends that year.
Too bad he was headed back to England soon, so nothing could happen between us—for so many reasons.

I definitely couldn't fall in love with him, especially since all we had was just one year.

I stormed up the stairs and headed straight to my old room—his room. But when I got to the top of the stairwell, I swallowed the words I’d been prepared to unleash. The unexpected sight of Caleb doing pull-ups met my eyes. He used a bar affixed to the top of the door to lift himself up. He wore a T-shirt that rode up each time he rose. His hard abs were now staring me in the face, ripples of carved muscle. He had black wrist wraps on. He’d turned my old room into a home gym. He was a bastard—but there was no denying he was beautiful.

I cleared my throat. “Did my father give you permission to put that thing in the doorway?”

The house shook as he landed on his feet. “Well, hello, Teagan. Amazing how easy it is to walk up the stairs, isn’t it? He grabbed a towel and wiped the sweat off his forehead. “And yes, in fact, your father did give me permission to put the bar up.”

I came out with it. “You think you know it all, don’t you? Who are you?”

He glared at me. “Who am I? Well, nice of you to ask, Teagan.” He threw his towel down on the desk. “You’ve had no interest in getting to know me from the moment I walked in the door. But since you finally did inquire… Hi, I’m Caleb Yates. Happy to be here. I have no clue what I’m doing with my life and have a somewhat crappy family situation back in England. So, I came to a strange country for the first time to get away for a bit. I miss my mum, but the good news is, I’ve just moved into Wow.

“That’s a bit harsh, don’t you think?”

He came closer, and the smell of his cologne mixed with sweat was…interesting. Couldn’t say it was a bad thing, that’s for sure.

“You didn’t have to write me a snooty email, Teagan. You can come talk to me if I do something to piss you off. If you write me emails like that when I’m right upstairs, that’s the kind of response you’re going to get, each and every time.”

He had a point. The email was a bit cowardly of me. Yet I’d still managed to convince myself it was a good idea. He was right. Anything I needed to say to him, I should be able to say to his face. Quite honestly, the benefit of that was also his face—getting to look at it, I mean. It turned out, looking at him was a lot more fun than avoiding eye contact had been. Thank goodness he can’t read my mind right now.

Seeing that he actually seemed angry as opposed to amused caused me to change my tune—that and perhaps his scent going straight to my head as it followed my mind right into the gutter.

He held out his hand. “Give it to me.”

I looked down at my empty hands. “Give you what?”

“The stick in your arse. Take it out and give it to me.”

I crinkled my forehead. “What?”

He wiggled his fingers. “Come on. Hand it over.”

Genuinely curious as to where he was going with this, I motioned with my hand, pretending to remove the imaginary stick from my derriere and throwing it over to him.

He pretended to catch it, then let it weigh him down. “It’s bigger than I thought.” Looking around he said, “I’m gonna find a space for it. Hang on.”

I laughed, against my better judgment. He shoved the imaginary stick under his bed and wiped fake dust off his hands.

“Now that that’s out of the way, why don’t we start fresh?”

Excerpt Release: Savage Prince by Megan March

  SavagePrince availnowbanner

Who knew things could get even darker and dirtier in New Orleans? New York Times bestselling author Meghan March introduces the Savage Prince of the city, the man you never want to meet. I do what I want and who I want. I don’t follow anyone’s rules—even my own. I knew I shouldn’t touch her, but it didn’t stop me. Didn’t stop me the second time either. Only made me want a third. My lifestyle suits the savage I am, and she doesn’t. But Temperance Ransom is my newest addiction, and I’m nowhere near ready to quit her yet. I’ll have her my way, even if it means dragging her into the darkness. Hopefully it doesn’t kill us both. Savage Prince is book one of the Savage Trilogy, set in the same world as Ruthless King, however you do not need to read the Mount Trilogy to devour this scandalously hot new story.

“That you, Temperance?” My gaze searches the darkness, interrupted only by the Chinese lanterns and fairy lights hanging from the trees, until it lands on the red dragon emblazoned on the back of a black silk kimono, topped by a fluffy white head of hair. Shit. My landlady. “I’m so sorry to disturb you, Harriet. I’ll just—” She spins around, spry for her advanced age. “Oh, girl, you’ve got sex hair. At least that makes one of us.” I squeeze my eyes shut in humiliation. “I . . . uh . . . got—” “Done up right by a real man, I’d say. About damn time, girl. I was starting to think you were a lost cause of all work and no play. Almost wondered if I’d have to find a new tenant to get some entertainment around here.” I blink twice as she shuffles toward me, fluffy pink marabou slippers on her feet. “You were going to kick me out because I work too much?” I knew my landlady was a little nutty, but I didn’t realize she was downright crazy. “It would’ve been a last resort. I was going to send you a male stripper first. Girl, you need some fun in your life, and you do nothing but go between here and work. Boring as hell.” Her point is finally sinking in, but part of me is still in shock. “I’m boring?” “Of course you are. I swear, you go out of your way to stay that way too. But not tonight. Tonight, you look like you got dicked down by a real man.” She takes a seat at the outdoor patio table and reaches for a bottle of wine. “Here’s a glass. Now, sit down and consider part of your rent spilling the juicy details.” Dumbstruck, I close the distance between us and take a seat at the table. “It’s nothing. I swear.” “Girl, you’re practically walking bowlegged. I’ve been around the block plenty of times. You won’t shock me.” I reach for the glass of wine and take a long drink. Good Lord, I needed this. “I shouldn’t even be admitting what I did tonight.” Harriet’s aged eyes practically light up as she grins. “Those are the best stories. Come now, I’ll take it to the grave.” I squeeze my eyes shut. “I think I accidentally went to a sex club.” Harriet’s wineglass clinks the metal of the table. “I knew this was going to be good. How do you accidentally go to a sex club?” I tell her about the note that came to the office, and rushing to meet the appointment, assuming I was there to sell whiskey . . . and end with the part about running from the room. Harriet claps with childlike excitement. “There’s hope for you yet, Temperance. When are you going back?” I’m stunned at her reaction. I didn’t exactly expect her to judge, but I sure didn’t think she’d cheer me on. “Never. I can’t. That’s not me. I’m not . . .” “Interesting? Sexually adventurous? Up to be manhandled regularly by a real man?” “I don’t even know his name!” Harriet waves off my concern. “If I had a nickel for every man whose name I didn’t know, I’d be even richer than I am now. You can’t take life so seriously. You’ll never make it out alive. Now, you go upstairs, take the rest of this bottle of wine, and get tipsy enough to forget all the shouldn’ts and can’ts. If you need me to do some stalking to find this guy, just let me know. I have connections.”
