Release Boost: Scored by Aleatha Romig

SCORED
Aleatha Romig
Release Date: September 7
AVAILABLE IN KINDLE UNLIMITED
It all comes down to this—the conclusion of The Coopers.

With the postseason on the line and the dream of a championship within reach, tragedy strikes the Lexington Coopers once again.

As Reid Hubbard's daughter, I've spent my life protecting my family's football dynasty. Pressure comes with the name. Expectations come with every game.

What I never expected was Griffin Graham.

Fourteen years after he shattered my heart, the veteran quarterback is back in my life—and somehow, back in my heart. Now the man I swore I'd never trust again is the one beside me when I fall asleep and the first face I see each morning.

But love doesn't make winning easier.

The season has come down to this.

Every play.
Every decision.
Every game.

My father wanted a Super Bowl victory.

Now, with everything we've fought for hanging in the balance and Fin facing his greatest challenge yet, the future of the Coopers—and our second chance at forever—may depend on the final score.

Have you been Aleatha'd?

From New York Times bestselling author Aleatha Romig comes a steamy, addictive football romance packed with family legacy, second chances, heartbreak, and jaw-dropping twists.

SCORED is Book 4, the dramatic conclusion to the Coopers series. This series must be read in order: INTERCEPTED → RUSHED → SACKED → SCORED.
We finally have the conclusion to this great series, and what a way to wrap it up! Scored by Aleatha Romig was a solid 4-star read for me.

After everything these characters have been through, I was excited to see how their story would finally come together. There was plenty of tension, emotion, and those moments that kept me turning the pages because I needed to know what was going to happen next.

But let me tell you—the twist! I literally never saw it coming. I love when an author can genuinely surprise me, and this one completely caught me off guard. I spent a good portion of the book trying to figure things out, only to realize I was nowhere close!

Overall, Scored was a satisfying conclusion to a series I've really enjoyed. If you've been following the series, you definitely won't want to miss this one!
A daughter who works to carry on her family's legacy. Vee withstands betrayal and pain and proves to be exactly what this dynasty needs. And the man by her side? Perfection! These two were always meant to be standing tall, together. This book wrapped everything up with the big reveal.

A beautiful conclusion to this tale of love, family, strength, and staying strong - fighting for what is right with the perfect person at your side.

You HAVE to read this series, starting from book one. One-click this one, you won't regret it.

Release Boost: Rising Waters by Aleatha Romig

RISING WATERS
Aleatha Romig
Release Date June 15
AVAILABLE IN KINDLE UNLIMITED
A dark atmospheric psychological thriller packed with small-town secrets, buried trauma, and shocking twists.
She escaped her past—and the man she never forgot.

Now with two girls gone missing, she's pulled back into a deadly game she may not survive.

Jillian Thorne built her career making the unreal feel real.
On Hollywood soundstages, she stages murder, kidnapping, and violent crime with chilling authenticity—turning fiction into gripping entertainment.

But nothing she’s created compares to the truth waiting in Blue Gil.

Nearly six years after escaping her small hometown, Jillian is drawn back by the suspicious death of the town’s beloved high school football coach. What first appears to be a tragic loss quickly unravels into something far more sinister—a dark mystery no one is willing to confront.

Because in Blue Gil, secrets aren’t just buried… they’re protected.

As disturbing clues surface and a brutal tragedy strikes dangerously close to home, Jillian finds herself trapped inside a real-life psychological thriller. The instincts that made her successful in Hollywood may be the key to solving the crime—or the very thing clouding her judgment.

Everyone in this small town is hiding something.
Including Jillian.

To uncover the truth, she must break through an unspoken code of silence, deception, and loyalty—and face the past she thought she left behind. Because some secrets refuse to stay buried.

And in this twisted game of suspense, trusting the wrong person could be deadly.

Have you been Aleatha’d?

*Perfect for fans of Sharp Objects, All Good People Here, and The Last House Guest, Rising Waters is a dark and addictive psychological thriller filled with buried secrets, small-town corruption, twisted family loyalties, and devastating betrayals.

This is a complete 80K stand-alone psychological thriller with a STEM FMC who needs to learn secrets before it’s too late. The only connection to Aleatha’s FEAR OF FLAMES is that our favorite podcasters from Crime Daily Podcast are back, showing the readers another perspective.

*You do not need to read Crime Daily Podcast book one, FEAR OF FLAMES before RISING WATERS.
5 Stars!

Rising Waters is one story that sticks with you. Your emotions and senses are fully engaged in this psychological thriller.

Returning to her small hometown she hasn't set foot in in over six years isn't easy for our mfc. Neither is being the only one (perceived only one) to question the death that brought her home, or the mysterious disappearances that occur.

The truth in revealed slowly, hidden secrets come to the surface, and her perseverance will pay off. This isn't my usual Aleatha story, but man! I absolutely loved reading this one!
Jillian hasn't been back to Blue Gill in six years. Returning in search of answers, she quickly finds herself caught up in a web of mystery, secrets, and scandal. It's clear that something isn't right in Blue Gill—and the deeper she digs, the more dangerous things become.

I honestly couldn't turn the pages fast enough. Aleatha Romig does a fantastic job building suspense and keeping readers guessing. I had a theory about one of the twists and was thrilled to discover I was right, but the other major reveal? I never saw it coming.

With intriguing characters, plenty of tension, and unexpected twists, Rising Waters kept me hooked from beginning to end. If you enjoy mystery, suspense, and small-town secrets, definitely pick this one up if you get the opportunity.
