A trail of secrets, in a faraway land could shatter the fiery American Prima Ballerina’s glamorous lifestyle.

Captain Elijah Corrington’s mission: To keep the American prima ballerina, Elyse Booker, safe from North Vietnamese Army and the auction block.

He quickly learns she’s not going to make this the easiest mission he’s ever faced.

A family’s legacy of serving in the Marines Corp. The war-hardened marine, Elijah, is used to having his orders followed without question. She is fiercely independent and, at times, mischievous. Elyse, oblivious to the danger she’s facing is not about to take orders from some arrogant, handsome, stubborn marine.

Three tours of duty could not prepare the Captain for the toughest battle of his life.

Or for the Promise of Passion and Love. . .

For the lovers of Ellen Marie Wiseman’s, The Orphan Collector, Leesa Wright has brought her love of history to life in this new 20th Century Historical Fiction Romance.

OPERATION AMETHYST is available now. Come and be swept up in this romantic saga set in the midst of the Vietnam War.
Elyse woke with the arm of the Captain around her waist, his hand resting on the curve of her hip. Her head laid on his chest. She made a sound that was more of a kitten’s mew.

Elijah looked down into her face. “Good morning, brat.”

Elyse’s sleep-fogged brain couldn’t comprehend his sarcasm, so she snuggled closer to his chest and sighed her contentment. Elyse’s eyes flew open when she realized her head lay on his chest and her proximity to him. She sat up, her hands splayed on the ground, and she stared into his gorgeous brown eyes. My breath. Her hand flew up to cover her mouth.

“I think I need a toothbrush,” she said.

~*~*~

He was stunned into silence as his eyes roamed her face, her tousled hair, loosened from her bun as she had slept, fell in soft waves to curl around the curves of her breast and hips. The cleavage she unknowingly displayed, and that delightful tiny mole on the top of her left breast. Her eyes, Purple? No, amethyst. Porcelain skin and pink pouty lips. He had never seen a more beautiful woman, and he shook his head to clear his thoughts. Focus man, focus.

He leaned over and grabbed his rucksack. Opening a side pouch, he pulled out a spare toothbrush still wrapped in clear plastic and handed it to her.

“I guess I came prepared.” He handed her his canteen. “It’s Kool-aid.” “You brush your teeth with Kool-aid?” she asked incredulously.

He gave a wry grin. “Not just any Kool-aid, grape Kool-aid. Fresh water when we can find it can be nasty. This covers the taste of the iodine pills we use to sanitize the water.”

He picked her bobby pins off his chest and the ground next to him and handed them to her. “You have ten minutes then we move out.”

“Seven men were ready within ten minutes. You took twice as long.” The Captain stated as she moved to pass him on the path.

“Girl. I had to brush my teeth, wash my face. Thank God Mountain had water. I had to fix my hair and eat another nasty C-ration. I thought I did pretty well.”

He grunted, rolling his eyes in response.
Leesa makes her home in the Twin Cities metro area with her husband and her two dogs Rosie and Jax.

When she isn’t writing she enjoys gardening, painting, and reading romance novels. She and her husband also enjoy movies, traveling, and entertaining their two grown children along with several beautiful grandchildren.

Re-Release Blitz, Giveaway & Review: Elias by Amy Aislin

Re-Release Blitz, Excerpt & Giveaway:
Elias by Amy Aislin
Do something new today.
Why he looks at his horoscope every day, Elias Hood doesn’t know. It’s all garbage, and no nickel fortune ever helped him climb all the way up the corporate ladder. He’s about to make Vice President. Rocking the boat with “something new” is the last thing on his mind.
But there’s this guy.

Ty Green can make friends with a tree and Elias can’t help falling for his easy-going vibe and his perfect smile. He’s a fellow Capricorn, like Elias, but that’s as far as their similarities go. Ty works to live—he doesn’t live to work. When Elias takes his horoscope’s advice and asks Ty out, both men are in for a shock. But as Elias’s walls start to come down, they might just realize that they have more in common than they think. In fact, they might even want the exact same thing.

Who knows? Maybe horoscopes aren’t just trash after all.

Elias was originally released in 2017 as Picture Winter.
This edition has a brand new cover, but no new content.
Elias went silent again, so Ty went with one of his favourite getting-to-know-you questions.

"Do you have any pets?"

"No."

Huh. That question usually elicited a longer response.

"I had a hamster when I was a kid," Elias finally elaborated after taking a sip of his coffee. "Does that count?"

Ty couldn't stop his charmed smile. "Sure. What was his name?"

"Booger."

Ty snorted his drink. Fuck, it hurt! Holy mother, who knew getting hot chocolate up the nose would burn so badly? His eyes watered on top of everything, and it probably looked like he was either crying or laughing himself to death.

He needed to blow his nose, and the tiny one-ply café napkins would never do and—

"Here." Elias thrust a travel pack of tissues in his face. Oh, thank Christ. Ty had left his own travel pack in the console of his waste-removal truck—which was in the parking lot around the corner.

Once he'd blown his nose, he glanced at Elias—who looked like he was biting his cheek to hide his smile—crumpled up the tissue in his hand, and said, "Speaking of booger…"

Elias's laugh was soft, like he was having trouble believing the conservation was actually happening.

For those of you who may have read Picture Winter by Amy Aislin, this is the exact same book with a new cover and title. The content hasn't changed. For those of you who haven't read it, it's a cute, sweet, romantic quick read.

Elias and Ty meet by chance when Elias throws a newspaper away in a wrong bin. He just wanted to follow his horoscope, but maybe it was something more. These two men are drawn together, and it's a connection that many only dreams of finding.

I really liked the two main characters, Elias and Ty. One believes a little too much horoscope, but that's kind of how they met. I also wanted to slap him a time or two...actually both of them. Communication was not a strong point for either of them. They got better, but still not their strong point. The plot was a little predictable, but easy-paced and a short read. If you want a quick and easy, sweet romantic story, this is the one for you. 3.5 stars and I recommend you one-click today.

When temple guardians begin to disappear, Vale must discover for herself if primeval magic is really responsible, or if the culprits are all too human. This was formerly called The Temple, but has been updated, including new name and cover.

James stared at Eloise, brave, proud, innocent Eloise. He could relate to the passion in her plea. He had a sudden desire to be released from a betrothal himself. He fiddled with the corner of his napkin. “There is always the chance your betrothed won’t care if you’re ruined.” Some men did not. Her lashes fluttered. When they rose again, there was a look in her eye that sent lust coursing down his spine. It settled in his cock.

“If I’m to be married to a bilious flounder of a man for the rest of my life, I should like to know passion just once. Just once, James.” “J-just once?” His voice cracked. Her smile blossomed. “Perhaps more than once.” He had to laugh, although this was clearly no laughing matter. “My dear. I would be happy to oblige.” “Excellent!” She clapped her hands with glee. Unfortunate, that, because it made her look, once again, like a little girl. But then she picked up her cup and ran her pink tongue around the rim, lapping at the wayward drops. He reached for the second bottle. She held out her cup for a refill.

“You will need to show me what to do.” He almost forgot to stop pouring. Hell yes. He’d love to show her what to do. He’d love to instruct her—in elaborate detail—what, precisely, to do. Something snarled in his belly. His palm itched. He forced down that decadent desire. Chained the beast. For God’s sake. She was an innocent, a virgin. If he opened with that card, not only would she truly be ruined, she would probably hie off to the nearest nunnery and spend the remainder of her life in seclusion. Oh, he would bed her. He would despoil and beguile her, but only in the very gentlest of fashions.

But his fantasies, the darkling imagery of what he would truly like to do, simmered. “Are you…” He cleared his throat. “Are you ready for your bath?” “Heavens, yes.” Once again, she clapped her hands. The childlike gesture was off-putting since, at the moment, he was thinking of sinking his cock into her body and swallowing her moans with his mouth. But he liked her enthusiasm. It also made him desire—very deeply—to tie those hands to the bedposts. So she couldn’t clap them. Why that thought made him salivate, he didn’t know. Ah hell. Of course he knew. Despite the lust snarling through him, he managed a modicum of chivalry, although it was perfunctory at best.

“I’ll fashion a curtain.” Her next words nearly unmanned him. “You don’t need to.” “I b-beg your pardon?” “You don’t need to bother with a curtain.” For a shy and demure innocent, she had something of a brazen streak. “I mean, if we’re going to…you know…” “Make love?” “Yes. If we’re going to make love, you will see me naked anyway.” A frown crossed her brow. “Won’t you?” He chuckled. “Most certainly.”
