First love can't come second.
A stand alone second chance grumpy sunshine romance about Josie & Maddox by USA Today bestselling author K.A. Linde...Maddox Nelson is the only boy I’ve ever loved.
And the only one to break my heart.
I thought I was over that long ago. After drowning the heartbreak in two failed marriages, I should want safe and easy, and Maddox is nothing but complicated.
Now that I’m back home in Savannah, I can’t deny the pull toward him. He’s the grumpy to my sunshine, the introvert to my extrovert, the uncompromising to my go with the flow. But years of friendship, love, and tangled lust binds us together in the city where it all began.
When heat flies between us, he makes it clear that we already had our chance. Both of us should move on.
Except I’m no longer okay with that idea.
I’ll prove to him that I come second to none.I love these Coastal Chronicles series and I am really hoping that the next book is about Amelia Ballentine and Ash. Second to None is a second chance romance with the added twist of best friend's sibling and polar opposite personalities. All my favorites in a perfect little package.
Josphine (Josie) and Maddox have known each other forever. Maddox’s twin sister (Marley) is best friends with Josie. So to say Maddox and Josie have been in and out of each other’s orbit, would be an understatement. Now back in her hometown, filming a movie for the tv show (Academy) that made her famous, she finds her back in the path of Maddox. But there is so much hurt and history between the two that it feels somewhat hopeless and very sad. Underneath all of these feelings you will catch glimpses of love and longing, and definitely sizzling attraction, but they need to figure out a way to make this all work. I absolutely adored these two characters; it was great to watch their journey forward in life and to finally see them at a place in their lives where they could actually make things work this time around. It was great to see characters from other books pop up. And let’s not forget Josie’s somewhat tumultuous relationship with her mother. Like I said, this story has it all – so what are you waiting for? One-click today!
