VAN RANSOM

“Damn you taste good, cowgirl,” he told her once she’d ridden out the remaining violent waves of ecstasy. “Here, taste.” Ignoring her wide eyes, he pressed his mouth to hers and lashed his tongue inside. He knew the sugared honey that was her arousal flared her desire because she clamped her legs around him and gripped his biceps hard enough to hurt. The way she dug her fingers in, as if she were holding onto him for dear life, made him ache to be inside her.
“Made up your mind yet?”
She pulled back from their kiss, still panting enough to make his entire life. “About?”
“Whether or not you believe the rumors. About me. Be honest.”
An impish grin lifted her lips. “Well, I can say with absolute certainty that you are, in fact, a madman.”
“That’s what they tell me, sweetheart.” He brushed his lips softly against hers to show her that, even as crazed as he was, madman or not, he could be gentle too—if that’s what she needed.
“Van…I need you,” she breathed. “Soon.”
The plea soothed every open wound he’d nursed for as long as he could remember. She needed him. And unlike the last woman who’d needed him, the one he’d failed miserably, he would be what Stella Jo Chandler needed. He would keep this one safe.
“You’ll have me. Soon. We’ll just have to be careful. I don’t want to cost you your job, cowgirl.”
She nodded. His eyes met hers and he saw it. She trusted him completely.
He would be worthy of that trust. Of her.
Or so help him, he’d cut out his own damn heart.

Blog Tour, Review & Giveaway: The Good Girl by Emma Nichols

https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/19286393-the-good-girl

**Please note: this book is rated MA for Adult Situations and the occasional curse word

When Willow Stone discovers that she is in competition with the exotic and worldly Molina for the coveted position of sex advice columnist, she realizes it's time to up her game. Though she has impeccable writing skills, there's no denying that a lifetime of being the good girl has left her ill prepared for this position. Realizing it's her lack of experience that will keep her from achieving this dream, she decides to proposition the bad boy who once lived in her college dorm that always had a stream of women doing the walk of shame from his room on a nearly nightly basis. Surely someone that shallow, that experienced, and that wildly attractive could teach her a thing or twenty.

Only Wyatt has his own plans, and they don't allow much time for teaching Willow what she would already know if she could just break free of the cool, calculating, proper demeanor that was part of being a Stone. His reputation has served him well through the years and being the black sheep of his family has never bothered him. What does bother him, however, is Willow. She is a mystery to unravel, a present to be cherished, a young woman who just might rock his world by bringing him back into his family's fold. She was everything they wanted for him and precisely what he had avoided since he started dating.

What will happen when the good girl gets mixed up with the bad boy?

Good Girl was a short sexy read.  I would give it a 4-5 star!  It is told in Willow's POV. It does have an HEA.  I loved the chemistry of the characters from the beginning to the end it was off the charts hot!  I would recommend this book to everyone I know in this crazy fantaboulous book world!

Willow is an intern at a local magazine and she is just about to graduate from college and is looking for a permanent position at the magazine and low and behold its a sex column that comes open.  But unfortunately Willow is a little inexperienced when it comes to sex and the only way to beat the competition is to get a little more experience... but can she have casual sex with a stranger or will someone from her past step up to the plate?  Can she do casual with this sexy man from her past or will feelings get in the way and not only the column will fall away but the sexy man too?

Wyatt is a sexy as sin bartender who recognizes Willow at a work function party they are having at his bar.  He realizes that she is still the shy girl he met in college, but he remembers always finding her very attractive.  When he over hears a conversation between her and a co-worker he steps in to help Willow out.  Can there arrangement work because he doesn't do relationships and he is leaving town to travel around the world?  Does casual turn into something more?  Can he just be her teacher of sorts and leave all the feelings behind?  Or will feelings he never knew he could have turn his world upside down?

Here is some teasers from the book!

Willow-  Shoulders back, chest out, chin high, Willow.  Remember, you are a Stone.  Yes, I am a Stone.  That's my birthright.  With the silver spoon comes and insane amount of responsibility that I have been groomed for since I could walk...
The worst part?  I liked it.  For the first time ever, I could feel myself melting into him.  Through the years, I had snuck in my guilty pleasure, romance novels, and I would read about this.  All of this.  Never before did I understand.  Now I knew what it meant.  I knew how it felt to melt into a man.  But why...why did it have to be this one?

Willow and Wyatt-  That's when he silenced me with a kiss.  His lips fit perfectly with mine.  His arms pulled me closer, so that soon enough, I was breathless and quietly introspective.  "By now, I recognize your defense mechanisms.  You don't have to be scared.  You also don't have to be in control of every situation.  Relax and let this just .... happen,"  Wyatt said as his lips grazed my ear and started and unfamiliar warmth inside me.  "I've looked this over.  Think of me as your instructer.  Let me teach you.  Just know that we're starting with Sex 101.  I've got this."

"It wasn't that I didn't want to see your face," he said quietly.
"No?"  I asked.  This was new.  I really did need that explanation.
"No, doll,"  he murmured into my hair.  " You have the most perfect ass I have ever seen.  It's shaped like a heart when you bend over like that.  From the first moment I woke up in bed naked with you, I wanted to have sex that way.  It's like making love to your ass,"  he said in an effort to explain.
Looking flustered he stopped.  " I can't explain it,"  he groaned in frustration.
"Just know that was really special to me."  Then he kissed me on the very tip of my nose.  "You are positively adorable."

He bit back a curse and strode to his truck. Unlocking the door, he tossed his bags in the backseat, climbed in, and slammed the door. He turned the key and backed out resolutely, trying to ignore the fact that she had risen, her hands on her bags, and that her hood had slipped from her head. She didn’t move forward, didn’t call out to him to wait. She just stood there, watching him go. He shifted into drive and made it 100 feet before he let his eyes find her figure in the rear view mirror. “Unbelievable,” Finn ground out, and slammed the wheel with the palm of his hand. He slowed to a stop. “UNBELIEVABLE!” he reprimanded himself even as he engaged the brake, pushed the door open and lurched out of the idling vehicle. Bonnie still stood with her two duffle bags in her hands, her grandma’s stolen purse on her shoulder, but now her lips were slightly parted, clearly stunned that he’d stopped. And she wasn’t the only one. Finn felt like he was split right down the middle. The rational part of his brain, the side that ensured his survival and his sanity, was outraged, demanding that he keep driving, while the side of his brain that was connected to his heart and other parts of his body was breathing a sigh of relief that he hadn’t let her get away. She didn’t move, as if she was sure that the moment she did he would change his mind, climb back in the Blazer, and drive away. So he walked back to her, battling with himself every step of the way. He walked until they were practically toe to toe, her dark eyes wide and lifted to his, his hands shoved into his pockets so he wouldn’t strangle her. But his pockets felt like manacles around his wrists and he yanked them free, fisting them in the front of Bonnie’s puffy pink coat and raising her up on her toes and into him until they weren’t toe to toe any longer but nose to nose. His emotions were a big tangled ball of anger, longing, and injustice all wrapped up in impatient outrage, and Finn couldn’t separate one feeling from another. So he did the only thing he could do. He kissed her. It wasn’t a soft kiss or a sweet kiss. It was a ‘you-scared-me-and-messed-with-me-and-I’m-mad-and-relieved-and-unbelievably-frustrated’ kind of kiss. It was teeth and lips and nipping and bruising, and Finn couldn’t make himself stop, even when Bonnie’s teeth tugged at his lower lip and her hands pulled at his hair. Especially then. And when she wrapped her arms around his neck and stepped up onto his toes so that she could press herself flush against him, he decided revenge really was sweet, and enjoyed the feel of her face against his, the wet heat of her mouth making him forget he was standing in the middle of a Motel 6 parking lot with his ride rumbling behind him, the driver side door still hanging wide open. The rational part of his brain was stunned into peaceful silence…for all of ten seconds.
