Double Cover Reveal: GUILTY AS SIN & REVELING IN SIN by Meghan March

Guilty until proven innocent. That’s the way the world works, right? I’m tired of being convicted without evidence, all because my last name is Gable. The Riscoffs might own this town, but I’m done following their rules. If only I could forget just how easily Lincoln Riscoff can drag me under his spell.
Whitney Gable is the kind of woman you fight to the death to protect. To keep. To cherish. I’ve finally learned my lesson, and it’s time to prove I’m the man who’s worthy of her. I don’t care what it takes, because failure is not an option. No matter who or what stands in our way—this time, she’ll be mine forever.
From New York Times bestselling author Meghan March comes a brand new saga of forbidden love and second chances. A Riscoff and a Gable can never live happily ever after. Our family feud is the stuff of legends. Ten years ago, Whitney Gable caught me off guard with her long legs and grab-you-by-the-balls blue eyes. I didn’t know or care what her name was. Like any Riscoff worth the family name, I went after what I wanted.
We burned like a flash fire until she married another man. She hates me, and she should. I objected on her wedding day. Now she’s home, with those same long legs and man-eater stare, but there’s no ring on her finger. They say a Riscoff and a Gable can never live happily ever after . . . but I’m not done with Whitney Gable. I’ll never be done with her.

A New York Times, #1 Wall Street Journal, and USA Today bestselling author of over twenty novels, Meghan March has been known to wear camo face paint and tromp around in woods wearing mud-covered boots, all while sporting a perfect manicure. She’s also impulsive, easily entertained, and absolutely unapologetic about the fact that she loves to read and write smut. Her past lives include slinging auto parts, selling lingerie, making custom jewelry, and practicing corporate law. Writing books about dirty talking alpha males and the strong, sassy women who bring them to their knees is by far the most fabulous job she’s ever had.

Blog Tour/Reviews: Butterface by Avery Flynn

“I love the heck out of this book! It’s super fresh and hysterical.” -- Helena Hunting, New York Times bestselling author

Butterface, a hot romantic comedy from USA Today bestselling author Avery Flynn, is AVAILABLE NOW!
Looks aren’t everything.

It’s true. I’m not what most people would call “pretty” and, well, high school was rough. Fast forward ten years and life is good…

Until a bunch of jerks think it’s hilarious to put the “butterface” (AKA me) on a wedding Kiss Cam with the hottest guy ever—and that old humiliation hits hard.

I recognize him immediately. The hottest cop in Waterbury and totally out of my league. But then he kisses me. And we totally forget the room, the crowd, everything. Then he tells everyone we’ve been dating for months.

Soon everything starts to feel too real, from adorable fights over “necessary” tools to fix my broken porch to surviving a free-for-all dinner with his six siblings to picking up where our last kiss left off.

But there’s something he’s not telling me about why he’s really hanging around, and I’m pretty sure it has to do with my mob-connected brothers.

Because this is not a makeover story, and Cinderella is only a fairy tale…

“Do not disrespect the Kiss Cam, Hartigan!” someone bellowed out as the chanting crowd grew more restless. And louder.

“One quick kiss,” he said, his tone grim with a thread of something more vulnerable underneath. “Then, they’ll leave us alone.”

That’s when Gina’s gaze moved from her own face, blotchy with embarrassment on the screen, over to him. The tips of his ears were scarlet, and he was tapping the tips of his middle finger and thumb together like he was keeping rhythm for a ska band.

He was hiding it better, but the reality was he wasn’t enjoying this anymore than she was.

Glancing from the screen to the actual man himself, her lungs tightened. He was a big guy, and she wasn’t just talking about his broad shoulders that filled out his tux to a mouthwatering degree. He had to have at least four inches on her own five foot ten.

He glanced down, making eye contact, and for a second they weren’t the hottie and the nottie. They were two people stuck in a completely socially awkward situation that they had no control over.

She nibbled the inside of her cheek and considered her options before deciding that Ford was right. A quick peck would get the videographer out of their faces and divert the boisterous crowd’s attention to another couple happier to indulge in this bit of insanity. Then, she could finish up the last of her duties and go home to her peaceful, if totally messy, mid-renovation Victorian.

She let out a shaky breath, not sure she was making the right decision. “Fine. A kiss. Whatever.”

Gina had barely gotten the words out when his large hands cupped her face, sending electric shock waves through her that made her lips part slightly with surprise. He dipped his head down—and he kissed her.

The roar of approval from the crowd faded to almost nothing when he seemed to groan involuntarily. Her body approved and made an answering sound of its own. At her encouragement, his tongue slicked across her bottom lip, and her mind lost all reasonable thought. Teasing her senses and sending her heartbeat into overdrive, she softened against him, practically melting against his hard, muscular chest. Somewhere in the back of her mind she registered that people were cheering. She just couldn’t for the life of her care. The world turned electric as the air practically vibrated against her skin as he deepened the kiss. His tongue swept against hers in a brief but oh-so-potent move that had her clutching his lapel before she’d even realized she’d lifted her hands.

Then, almost as soon as it began, he lifted his head and stepped back, breaking the connection.

Dazed, she released his tuxedo jacket and looked around, catching sight of herself on the giant screen. Her face was flushed and her eyes hazy. She pressed her fingers to her still-tingling lips. She looked like a woman who’d been kissed senseless, which made sense because that was exactly what had just happened.

About Avery USA Today bestselling romance author Avery Flynn has three slightly-wild children, loves a hockey-addicted husband and is desperately hoping someone invents the coffee IV drip.

She fell in love with romance while reading Johanna Lindsey’s Mallory books. It wasn’t long before Avery had read through all the romance offerings at her local library. Needing a romance fix, she turned to Harlequin’s four books a month home delivery service to ease the withdrawal symptoms. That worked for a short time, but it wasn’t long before the local book stores’ staffs knew her by name.

Avery was a reader before she was a writer and hopes to always be both. She loves to write about smartass alpha heroes who are as good with a quip as they are with their *ahem* other God-given talents. Her heroines are feisty, fierce and fantastic. Brainy and brave, these ladies know how to stand on their own two feet and knock the bad guys off theirs.

I was intrigued to read Butterface by Avery Flynn because the author was bringing something different to the table, however, it didn't completely grip me. It took me a while before I could get into the story and at first, the characters were kind of annoying. It did move along though and by the end, I did like what I was reading.

I don't know if it was that the characters weren't fully developed or if the story wasn't flushed out, but something felt like it was missing for me. That said, the subplot was interesting and the ending brought it all together. She isn't just a meek and mild heroine. 3.5 stars.
Gina has been made fun of and put down most of her life. She knows she's not considered "pretty". But one hot kiss on a webcam video has her starting to think that maybe someone can look past just her face and see that there is more to her than meets the eye.

Ford is doing a private investigative job. The kiss was hot, but now he is living with Gina to make sure things are on the up and up, and hoping for a break in his investigation. Her brothers are tied to crime family.

But the more time he spends with Gina the more he likes her.

Once his week up he keeps finding reasons to be around her. Will Gina be more than just a dead end lead for Ford?

This book started out rough for me. It felt stuttered and didn't flow well. About the 50% mark it turned around for me and I liked the ending.

I have to say I have read a couple books about bullying lately and it made sit back and think about my own past and what I have called other people.. or what I had been called... this day an age people tend to really fall from the bullying they get from others but I feel more extreme than when I was younger.. suicide is the biggest problem with bullying and it breaks my heart to think my kids could possibly be inflicted with the hatred at some point.. but I hope and pray they are never the one bullying someone else or fall victim to the horribleness of it.. in this story Butterface is a slang word that is used and we all know what it means but I dont always think we realize how badly it can hurt someone... so what I will take mostly from this story is how much it affected someones life and how she rose from the ashes of the pain scrutiny. It took me a bit to get into this story completely but once it got going and the story unraveled I did enjoy it and would give it a 3.5 stars.

Gina has been shunned all her life because of not being the pretty girl... but she has found as an adult that she has to push it aside because she has plans for her future and to make that happen she has to be the face of her company and build it up to its greatest potential.. what she doesn't expect is her family and there history to determine her path in life.. She is not prepared for the onslaught of things that will unravel when Ford literally charges his way into her life in more ways than one... but will his secrets keep her safe or finally unravel her completely?

Get to one clicking to see what happens!

I have to admit... The beginning of this book made me feel a little angry. The whole Butterface thing was difficult for me. I had a hard time with the author's blunt description of her looks, but so much more so by the comments of the men in this book about her.

But the story was great, and, of course, I felt way better in the end about it all. So, my advice - be angry at the dick comments in the book. Keep reading. (You won't be able to stop anyway.) I think you will be happy in the end. I was.

What happens when the boy you've wanted your whole life finally wants you back?

I'm used to taking what I want, being the best at what I do. During the day, I make big bucks as New York's premiere consultant. At night, I can get any girl I lay my eyes on. I thought this life was what I wanted: working hard and playing harder--with penthouse apartments, luxury cars and bottle service every weekend. After six years in the city, I know I've been living like a monster for too long. I need to get my act together. I need to find something real. I need to come home.

LA means family and a fresh start. My parents and my friends who are close enough to be siblings.

And Melina.

Melina is nerdy smart, with a challenging sense of humor and legs for miles. It's so hard to describe her...enigmatically beautiful. I’m sure there’s a word for it in French. But I know there's a naughty girl hiding behind that shy smile that I'm dying to drag out.

There was always something between us. I never forgot her laugh, never could get her off my mind. Nobody ever seemed to notice how my body would react when I was near Melina, how much more focused I became—maybe not even Melina herself. But this time it’s different.

The more time we spend together, the more I wonder if there was something there all along. After so long in the fast lane, I don't know if I can handle settling down. But seeing Melina's passion, I'm tempted beyond belief.

I have to admit it: temptation is hard to resist.
