We reconnect with Roman/Oliver and Lucille (I love their slow relationship) and delve deeper into the royal intrigue and are left with more questions with each answer or secret unveiled. Who do we trust? Who is the mastermind/villain? And how will the love story conclude in the next book?

The best part about this author is she can tell a story that is enthralling and leaves you turning the pages. The bad thing? Well, that she can create a tale that leaves you anxiously waiting for the next one (okay, so that's another good thing...)! I am not a patient person in life, so it's a good thing I pay for my nails to get done otherwise I would be left with none. lol

What a fast-paced ride. This book starts right where it left off.
As another layer reveals itself to Lucille and Roman/Oliver, I find myself with more theories and questions. Who is behind all this? How far does this secret lie? And who is after them?
I loved loved loved watching Lucille and Roman become closer and closer. I can’t wait to see how this whole thing plays out. I have my suspicions set on a few characters, but with Aleatha you never know. Definitely one-click this now! Can’t wait for the next installment to come out.
