Finding Perseverance is the third book in The Unexpected Series. This can be read as a standalone but I would recommend reading the other 2 books in this series as well. I would give this book a 4 stars and highly recommend to others. This is the first series/books that I have read by this author but I will be following her in the future. This book had all the feels and was written very well, and well the sexy scenes were smokin hot!

This is the story of Ryleigh and Rook- they had a romance like no other but when a career takes you away from everything and you decide to follow that path instead of love you find yourself 10 years later reminiscing about the one that got away... but what will happen when Rook and Ryleigh come face to face again will the old chemistry they have bloom again or is there too much damage that has been done? When they find themselves in a similar situation will they choose eachother or walk away once again?

I have been waiting for Ryleigh's story since I met her in book one of The Unexpected Love Series.

She's the girl who helps everyone else out when they need her. She puts everyone above herself. Even if it means little the love of her life go to chase his dreams, breaking her own heart in the process. In Finding Perseverance we get to meet the woman behind the bar.

Rook is on top of the world, leading the industry - he's one of the hottest MMA fighters on the roster. He's never really gotten over Ryleigh but has convinced himself she's happy and he needs to move on. When he finds himself in trouble, he runs back to the one woman who still owns him.

Will they get a second chance or will they say goodbye forever?

T. E. Black does not disappoint. This book has been well worth the wait. Things between Ryleigh and Rook will set the pages on fire. You've got to one click this 4.5 star read today!

I'm not big into MMA books, but if I find one that sounds interesting I'll read it...and that is exactly what Finding Perseverance by T.E. Black is - not that it is full of MMA, because it's not. And let me just say - in case you didn't get my point - THIS IS A BOOK YOU HAVE TO READ!
Ten years ago, Ryleigh forced herself to push away the only man she has ever loved, Rook. Today, she has everything she dreamed of except him. Then one night, he steps back into her life asking for help. He needs to clear his name, and then she is convinced when he does that, he will be gone again.

Rook's career took off after leaving Boston to train in California, but that doesn't mean he was happy. He missed Ryleigh and wanted her back. When he finds himself in the middle of an investigation and his career on the line, he goes back to her and asks for help. Will he be able to leave her when his name is cleared? What about his career? Will she take him back, or push him out the door again?

Can I just say that I love Rook? There was more than once that I rolled my eyes at Ryleigh, but she is a great character that believes she is doing right by Rook. As for the story, it pulls you in. Hot. Action. MMA. Love. Feels. Charm. And so much more. One click this 4.5 star read today!
