Ryder Daniels and Jason Mallory seem to have it all but even the most loving marriage takes work. Believing he and Ryder have no secrets, Jason is distraught to discover otherwise, revealing yet another crack in their once-perfect relationship.

Adrift and uncertain, both struggle to hold onto a love previously thought unshakable. A forbidden past is exposed, shocking Ryder to the core, but it means little without Jason by his side. “Daddy!”

Four-year-old Gemma’s plaintive cry split the night. Ryder squinted at the glowing numbers on the digital clock next to his bed. Three a.m. Shit. Nothing good ever happened at this hour of the night, or morning, if he wanted to get technical. Maybe it was a bad dream, even though Gemma rarely woke up at night anymore.

He settled down beneath the warmth of the comforter, preparing to fall back asleep. Jason moved closer to him, and Ryder slid his foot down Jason’s calf, relishing the scrape of his hairy leg. As long as he was up, it shouldn’t be a total loss. Ryder kissed Jason’s naked shoulder and licked up his strong neck, the steady pulse of life quickening beneath his lips. Jason’s sighs spurred him on, and Ryder smiled to himself, unsure whether his husband was fully awake, but that didn’t stop him from palming Jason’s ass and giving it a hard squeeze.

“Daddy, please. Come.”

Damn. No use. Fully awake now, Ryder slid out of bed, immediately missing Jason’s solid heat. Longingly he gazed back down at him splayed out in the center of the bed and shook his head with dismay. The man worked too damn hard. Jason had collapsed after they put Gemma to sleep the night before, barely able to stifle his yawns long enough to eat dinner. Mallory Brothers Construction had taken off in the past few years, and though Jason and Liam had hired several other architects and construction engineers to help alleviate the load of work they took on, Jason still tried to be as hands-on as possible. He and Ryder had numerous discussions about his long hours and how they kept him from being home with Gemma, but Jason insisted his presence was necessary, and Ryder backed off, unwilling to argue about it.

The past few weeks, Ryder tried to push dinner later and later, but Gemma had fallen asleep at the dinner table too many times for that to remain feasible. He loved the quiet times at night when they’d sit together and he’d read her a bedtime story, but Ryder missed having Jason beside him, sharing those special moments. The last thing Ryder wanted was for Jason to work so hard he missed Gemma’s childhood; his own father had missed his and Landon’s childhoods by burying himself in his work. Ryder wouldn’t allow Jason to do that, but he had to find a way to tell Jason without him getting upset.

“What’s wrong?” Jason mumbled, his face buried in the pillow. “I had a dream someone was copping a feel.” He turned his cheek on the pillow and mustered a tired smile. “Thought I was gonna get lucky.”

“You were about to, but Gemma woke up before I could make your dreams come true. Go back to sleep, babe.” Ryder leaned down to kiss Jason’s stubble-rough cheek. “She probably had a bad dream.”

“Mmm. Well, hurry back. I was dreaming of the beach, and you were my hot cabana boy.” He wiggled his ass. “I’m ready for my massage.”

Ryder snorted and rolled his eyes. “You’re insane.” But he couldn’t help kissing Jason’s smooth shoulder again. “Be right back,” he whispered against Jason’s skin, but all he received was an answering sleepy sigh.
Reunited is a m/m novel that is real and raw. And emotional ride that will have your heart in your throat.

This story does not start out like most others. Jay and Ry are married and have and beautiful daughter together. When they face a life changing challenge their relationship is tested to the utmost degree.

I appalled the author for not shying away from the hard stuff and keeping this novel real. One click this 4.5 star read today.

I'm going to be honest, I wasn't sure what to expect when I got this book. The premise sounded good, but it also sounded different than most books I've read. And I will tell you, the book was amazing. This isn't about finding love, winning love, or second chance love. It's about the love that already exists between two men and staying together, keeping their love alive,  through adversity. (I did find out after reading that this is a book 2, but you don't need to read book one to read this book. It is great on it's own, but I one clicked book one because of how good this one is.)

Ryder and Jason are married with a daughter, but it feels like something is separating them. Add on top of that an illness, a hateful mother, and everything else they are contending with, and things seem to be falling apart. Will they be able to work through it, or will this be the end?

As I stated previously, this is a book 2, but you do not need to read book one in order to read this book. I loved the story, the sentiment, and the hard topics addressed in this book. The author did not hold anything back, and the whole story felt real. I loved Ryder and Jason, and their many flaws, but where Jason is strong, Ryder is weaker, and vice versa. It was beautifully written and I highly recommend it to everyone. If you like M/M, this 5 star read is for you.

I have always been a romantic at heart. I believe that while life is tough, there is always a happy ending around the corner, my characters have to work for it, however. Like life in NYC, nothing comes easy and that includes love.

I live in New York City with my husband and two children and hopefully soon a cat of my own. My day begins with a lot of caffeine and ends with a glass or two of red wine. I practice law but daydream of a time when I can sit by a beach somewhere and write beautiful stories of men falling in love. Although there is bound to be a few bumps along the way, a Happily Ever After is always guaranteed.

Release Day Blitz and Giveaway: The Bachelor Auction by Rachel Van Dyken

THE BACHELOR AUCTION by Rachel Van Dyken

(January 31, 2017; Forever Mass Market Paperback; $7.99; The Bachelors of Arizona Book 1)

NOW IN PAPERBACK!
The first book in an all-new contemporary romance series from #1 New York Times bestselling author Rachel Van Dyken.

Cinderella never had to deal with this crap.

Jane isn't entirely sure that Cinderella got such a raw deal. Sure, she had a rough start, but didn't she eventually land a prince and a happily-ever-after? Meanwhile, Jane is busy waiting on her demanding, entitled sisters, running her cleaning business, and . . . yep, not a prince in sight. Until a party and a broken shoe incident leave Jane wondering if princes---or at least, a certain deliciously hunky billionaire---maybe do exist.

Except Brock Wellington isn't anyone's dream guy. Hell, a prince would never agree to be auctioned off in marriage to the highest bidder. Or act like an arrogant jerk---even if it was just a façade. Now, as Brock is waiting for the auction chopping block, he figures it's karmic retribution that he's tempted by a sexy, sassy woman he can't have. But while they can't have a fairy-tale ending, maybe they can indulge in a little bit of fantasy . . .

I love Rachel Van Dyken. Once again she delivers a great story with The Bachelor Auction. There is comedy, but there are also genuine emotions and a well written plot. Love! Love! Love!

Jane may very well be like Cinderella, except for the prince part, that is until Brock. Then again, just because he has the looks, doesn't mean that he is exactly princely. Can this odd couple find common ground and develop real feelings for each other, or will Brock be auctioned off into a marriage to the highest bidder? You have to read to find out.

I loved this story. It was enjoyable and witty, and I had a hard time putting it down. The characters, while sometimes overly eccentric sometimes, were perfect and made me laugh. Nadine and the twins! OMG! You have to read the story to find out what I'm talking about. You will not be disappointed! 5 stars.

Rachel Van Dyken is simply becoming one of my favorite go-to authors. And let me tell you, this book does not disappoint. This was a superb spicy version of Cinderella. I can't wait for the next book in this series.

Jane, Plain Jane, caters to her two demanding sisters in order to keep her family together. Being dragged to a party leaves Jane with a broken shoe and that belief that perhaps Prince Charming's do exist.

But Brock, Boring Brock is hardly a Prince, well maybe he is under his scruff exterior. For the good of his company, Brock will be auctioned off at a charity event. And as he is dealing with the actuality of this going through he starts to fall for the sassy, beautiful maid (Jane).

Should they indulge now even though there may not be a happily ever after?

This book will make you want to fight for love while cracking up with Brock and his twin brothers.

The Bachelor Auction is the first book in the Bachelor's of Arizona series... and boy did she start off this series with a bang!  I would give this book a 4.5 stars and highly recommend to others.  This was a sexy sassy romantic comedy.. of course that is what Rachel Van Dyken does best.. and she didn't disappoint in this book.  I have to say one of the many things I really enjoy about her books is not only are her main characters phenomenal but her side characters make you want to know there story as well.. and I definitely want to know the twins story ASAP!  I can't wait for Bentley's book to come up next because I have a feeling its going to be EPIC!

Jane- she is the epitome of the term Plan Jane, well she thinks so anyway, she has done what everyone expected of her- AKA her sisters because she felt obligated.. what sibling wouldn't right?  Well Jane is offered a job she can't refuse but what she gets is so much more... but where will they leave her responsibilities to her family?

Brock is the billionaire but it comes with a price, he always does what is expected of him.. he was the good ole boy... but what will happen when fate will bring a twist into his life?  Will he still feel obligated to do what is expected?

Can these 2 show eachother that they can be independent and no due what is expected of them all the time by building up a relationship that may or may not last a lifetime.. but teach them to live in the now?

Get to one clicking this is definitely a must read and will leave you wanting to know what happens next because there are some twists and turns in this fun read.. oh and definite sexy scenes!  Can't wait for more books in this series!

Blog Tour and Giveaway: Distraction by Nicole Edwards

Title: Distraction
Series: Club Destiny
Author: Nicole Edwards
Genre: Adult, Erotic Romance
Published: January 31, 2017
Time doesn’t always heal a broken heart. Sometimes the only thing it does is fill the darkness with more shadows, more pain.

Dylan Thomas has spent the past decade living in the shadows, mourning the loss of his wife, his best friend, his very reason for breathing. He long ago accepted that he would never feel again, that he was damned to a world without light, without hope. That was the day the bottle won, and he gave himself over to the darkness.

Until the one night that rocked his brittle, crumbling world on its axis. She told him what they shared was simply a distraction, a way to forget for a little while. It would’ve been, except the tiny glimpse of how it feels to live again, to feel again, gives him the strength he needs to pull himself up by his boot straps. But sobriety comes one day at a time, and three years later may be three years too late.

Distraction by Nicole Edwards is the 8th book in her Club Destiny Series.

As an avid fan of Nicole and this series, I knew I needed to read it.

The beginning felt like it was off to a slow start, but then I realized - it was an important part of Dylan and Sarah that we all needed to see. Watching them both deal with their issues head on - conquering and surviving. It was a beautiful thing. I think this may have been one of the more 'serious' of Nicole's works but it does not lack heat and passion.
