Lex has never felt more exposed.

She has just allowed Jake Reed, the lead singer of rock band Inkjet, to undress her and tie her to a chair backstage after a show, only to have him leave to go sign autographs.
It is the start of a dark, obsessive relationship that will lead Lex, a 20-something public relations professional from L.A., to lose herself almost entirely as she struggles to break through her sexual boundaries without falling in love with Jake, an intimidatingly gorgeous Hollywood actor/rock star who closely guards his emotions.

What starts as a series of casual hookups ends up a powerful addiction that will push Lex past all her sexual boundaries as Jake moves repeatedly in and out of her life, making few promises along the way. Lex fights to keep a sense of herself while she succumbs to Jake’s glamorous world and his irresistible allure.

Elisabeth Joye used to write about Congress. Now, she writes about sex. A former political journalist, she’s wanted to write a romance novel since she was 12 and finally found the inspiration to do it by incorporating her love of concerts and musicians. Invisible Ink is her first self-published novella.

Elisabeth’s philosophy when writing romance is simple – she writes what she thinks is hot and hopes others will, too. She wants to create characters who speak, act and fall in love like real people with issues, flaws and fears. But, above all, the sex is got to be hot.

When she’s not writing, Elisabeth is a stay-at-home mom to her four-year-old son. She loves fangirling her favorite celebrities and reading true crime obsessively. She didn’t have a smartphone until 2013 and now couldn’t live without social media and text messaging. She lives in the Midwest with her husband and family.

"What are you up to?" I asked.

"Stay here, don’t move."

He went and flipped on one of the stage lights right on me and then planted himself in a front row seat. I could barely make out his face.
"Strip," came his instructions over the microphone.
I stood and looked at him blankly for a second.
"This is why you brought me here?"

"I can’t hear you, but if I could, it doesn’t matter, because no talking, baby girl. You know my rules," he ordered, his soft voice booming through the sound system.

I had already proven to him I was up for anything he asked for, so I did as I was told, removing my tank top and jeans and stepping out of my slip-ons.

"All of it," he said.

The air was cool on my skin, but the lights were hot as hell. I looked around for a minute, over my shoulder and into the wings of the stage.

"No one’s here, I checked, don’t worry," he breathed into the mic, his voice lowering.
I took off my underwear and I stood there naked in front of him, exactly what he wanted.

"Good. Now, walk the catwalk for me."

I shot him an exasperated, confused look.

"See that curved path in front of the stage right before the seats? That thing. Walk it."

I felt utterly ridiculous as I padded my way down the catwalk and moved back and forth across the crescent-shaped little path that brought me closer to where Jake had perched himself.

I concentrated mostly on not falling and trying to look as poised as possible. I could feel his eyes on me from below, burning into me.

Then he laughed.

It wasn’t into the mic, but I was close enough to him that I could hear him.

"God, Jake, don’t be a fucking asshole and laugh at me up here!" I glared at him and he looked so smug. I wanted both to climb on top of him and also to punch him. If I would have known I would be naked on a stage, I would have worn heels or hit the gym more this week or…

"I was thinking about how a lot of girls wouldn’t do this if I told them to," he said, smiling. "And if they did, they’d try to…do a stripper show for me or look seductive. But you’re …like…" he searched for the word he wanted to use. “there. You’re real. It’s fucking perfect."

"You don’t have to flatter me, Jake," I said, suddenly feeling more exposed. "You already have me. Obviously."’

He looked me in the eye for a long time. His stare made the moment suddenly serious. Then he looked me up and down for longer than I was comfortable.

"Spin."

I did.

"Slower."

He was silent and I felt sick to my stomach with nerves, overwhelmed with self-conscious fears. He was pushing me too far.

I faced him again and stood there, my hand on my hip.

"Jesus Christ, Lex," he said. "You’re so fucking hot. And you don’t even know it."

I looked down at him, shrugged slightly, and said, "It only matters that you know it, Jake."

He smiled big, showing off his perfect teeth.

"Is that so?" He stood up and used all his strength to lift himself up on the walkway. He pressed himself up against me, picked me up, and moved us both back to the main part of the stage.

My naked skin rubbed against his clothing as I wrapped my body around him, my legs gripping his waist, his hands cupping my bare ass. I kissed his neck lightly and then moved to his lips as he set me down and cupped my ass in his hands.
"So you said you wanted to do something I’d never done before," he said, pushing my shoulders down so I knelt on the stage in front of him. "I’ve always wanted to fuck a girl on a stage and where better to do that than the Los Angeles Amphitheater, right?"

On my knees, I knew he wanted something else first. A blow job. My stomach flipped again. Although we’d obviously already had a lot of sex, I had tactfully avoided trying to put his erection in my mouth until now.

I didn’t have a ton of confidence about my blow job skills in the first place, and his cock was by definition intimidating — larger than average, attached to a famous, super hot guy, and sexually powerful enough to take over my mind and life. It had unwittingly become the center of my universe.

Oral sex with Jake would put me in control for the first time. What if I didn’t do what he liked and I was desperate to please him the way he had pleased me.

"Don’t worry, I’ll tell you what I want you to do," he said softly, cradling my chin with his long fingers. He was a mind reader.

He undid his zipper and lowered his jeans on his hips enough that I had access to his full length.
I gripped one hand around the shaft and positioned my mouth around the tip, waiting for whatever instructions he had in mind. But instead of speaking, he grabbed me roughly by my hair and pushed into me as far as he could until I let out a muffled cry.
I closed my eyes and let my tongue dance around while he pulled my head into him and then out again by my hair, slowly at first so I could adjust and then at the pace he wanted.

I could not have been more compromised or exposed on a stage meant for an audience of thousands giving a fucking blowjob. But all I could think about was him and my hot breath and his skin against me. The setting fell away and time fell away with it.

Bring Me You (Book 1):

Pro quarterback, Ethan Christopher thought he had found his home when he met rock musician, Mia Devereux. She was the welcomed distraction in his football-focused life. Things may not have been perfect. Their individual careers made being together difficult. Her touring. His away schedule. As her success grew, they spent more extended periods apart. But at the end of the day, he knew he wanted to spend the rest of his life with her. Only her. When Mia met Ethan, she felt a connection unlike any she’d ever felt. She gave him more of herself than she thought was even possible. But she knew it wasn’t enough. There was a lot she didn’t share, couldn’t give him. An event two decades in her past made sure of that. Those demons that she’d so carefully tucked away wanted out. As Mia struggled with the stress of touring and being apart from Ethan, her defenses weakened, allowing the demons to fight their way to the surface, leaving her in a vulnerable place. A place where bad choices were made. Choices that both of them will regret. Can Mia and Ethan's love survive her past? Or will it fall apart under the weight of her choices?

Still Into You (Book 2):

What happens when you continually run from your demons? When Mia watched Ethan walk out of her life, she did what she did best—she ran—ran from the only person who ever made her feel safe; home. They work even harder to try and find you. He was her everything and she let him slip away. And when they do … they’ll come at you full force, guns blazing. Hitting rock bottom forced Mia to stop. Now she needed to dig herself out. Figuring out how to do that required help, maybe a plan. She had to face those demons. Not an easy task when she spent her entire life running from them. Would Ethan still be there for Mia after all was said and done? Or would she find that he had moved on? Or would he still be into her?

Never Over You (Book 3):

Strange how life deals the cards sometimes … Life was perfect for Mia Devereux. “You can always have me, Mia. I’m always yours. Forever, suga.” She had everything she always wanted. But maybe life wasn’t so perfect after all. One event threatens her happily ever after. Will Mia revert to her old ways of dealing with her pain? Or will she fight? Or will the hurt simply be too much to handle? Can she get past the pain and recapture the life she so desperately wanted?

Goodreads

The Never Over You Boxed Set by Ryleigh Andrews is a series with the three books; Bring Me You, Still Into You and Never Over You. These books are filled with pasts that some of the characters struggle to overcome, a love that transcends years and a family that may not be blood, but is family all the same. The story of Mia and Ethan is one that will pull at your heart strings from the very first pages and have you intrigued until the very last page. This series overall was a 3.5 star read for me and I would recommend it to others.

Ethan Christopher is a pro football player who seems to have it all, and not just looks. But he is missing that one thing to make him whole, love. A love that he believes he found in up and coming rock star Mia Deveraux. Mia isn't looking for a love that will transcend time; especially with a past that haunts her everyday. When her best friend Luke introduces her to superstar Ethan Christopher, she never expects to have the feelings that she does for him, in such a short amount of time. But Mia cannot let go of the past that haunts her and the fears that she has only escalate as their relationship becomes more serious. With a travel schedule for games and Mia starting her very first tour, the reader is left to wonder if they will be able to make it work, because the love and need they have for each other is so strong.

With the temptations of being a rock star and the ache of being away from Ethan become too much for Mia she starts tumbling down a path that can only lead to one place, rock bottom. I found myself yelling at my kindle, wanting to reach through the pages to shake her and tell her to lean on Ethan, that he can help her if only she would open up about her past and her fears. But Mia is fiercely independant and refuses to open the door to a past she hasn't faced in her twenty years.

Will Ethan and Mia be able to overcome every mistake, every fear, the past and even the present so that they can be together the way that they both desperately want to? You will have to read this amazing series to find out.

Never Over You Series was quite the emotional roller coaster of a story.  I would give this series a 3.5 stars and would recommend to others.  This book is about a Rock Star Mia the lead singer of Last Star and Ethan the famous quarterback.  So if your looking for a sports/rock star romance this may be the series for you.  The books in the series are as follows: Bring Me You, Still Into You and Never Over You.  This is the first books I have read by Ryleigh Andrews but I can see myself picking up a book again by her in the future.

Mia and Ethan's story was told in dual POV's and also it had a few other POV's of friends thrown in as well.  There will be so many things that happens in this story so get prepared to go for a crazy ride.  These books will have you guessing to the end as to if Ethan and Mia will ever truly find there happy ending.

Get to one-clicking to find out if mistakes can truly ever be forgiven?!

Beautiful lady with dark hair

During the day, Ryleigh is an analyst, but even then, she’s writing, sneakily crafting scenes on post-it notes. She's been told she's a bit of a geek...some say nerd. She'll agree to it all. She loves music. It's been a force in her life for as long as she can remember. Her love of Star Wars and superheroes has probably been going on just as long...see, this is where the geek/nerd thing comes into play. But, most of all, Ryleigh loves the written word. She's been writing for a long time. Her first story came to her during one of her history classes. She wrote it in the margins of her notebook in teeny tiny letters so no one knew that she was writing a book instead of taking notes on 16th Century Europe. She currently lives in Chicago, Illinois, with her husband and son, along with her Siberian Husky, Mick Jagger, and her cat, Winston Churchill.

  Excerpt
I place a kiss on her neck and mutter against her smooth, honey-mint skin, "Keep kissing me like this and I can't promise we'll make it back to your place." She gasps slightly and it's the sexiest thing I’ve ever heard. At this rate, I’d fucking carry her the entire way to her apartment if it meant we didn't have to waste a valuable hour waiting for a cab. And then the little minx starts grinding against me. I can feel her damp warmth through my jeans. Jesus take the wheel. I might marry this girl. "Are you asking for a public fucking, Mel? Because it certainly feels like it." I slip my hands under her short dress. A firm ass waits for me. I knew she worked out. I’m such a good judge of character. Character. Haha. "God, you really are beautiful," I tell her, and I totally mean that. That’s the key to the charm I learned from my dad—mean what you say. Sincerity is more important than any fancy words. And by fancy words, I mean I mostly only keep thinking of filthy ones to say to her, so.

"I think we're going to have to walk." She leans forward and gently bites my neck. "Because I don't know how much longer I can wait."

Fucking jackpot. "Where do you live?"

"Seven blocks that way." She points in the direction of the Plaza, but I’m paying exactly zero attention to her muttered directions. I’m way too busy enjoying the way her body moves against me in time to the music coming from the bar. "Do you mind walking?"

"Do I mind?" I laugh. More like she read my mind. I pick her up and toss her over my shoulder. (Another note for all my brothers out there—girls love this move. Proves you’re super strong. Helps to play baseball. If you’re any good, hit me up. We’re down a shortstop on my team.) Her high-heeled feet kick in delight and it's the cutest thing ever. Like puppies and kittens but—you know what, no. Puppies and kittens are a terrible analogy. Anyway, slipping into that particular bar to hide was probably the best thing I could have done all night. "Just tell me where to go."

"The other way! Other way!" Melissa squeals as I spin her in circles. "Yes, this way. Seven blocks. High-ho, Silver!"

She thinks she's hilarious and laughs at her own joke. It makes me laugh, too. Then I realize her ass is probably on display to the whole cab line. As much as I deserve high fives from everyone who sees who I’m leaving with, I’m selfish. That ass is mine for the night, so no one gets to look but me. I set her down. I haven’t been back to a girl's place in… well in for-fucking-ever, and the idea excites me. No one can come back to my place, not right now, and I usually avoid going home with strangers, no matter how hot. You just never know, man. Maybe it's the beer, maybe it's the quick getaway that led me to the bar, maybe it's how she kisses like she’s already in bed, but this is so happening. God, I miss one-night stands. There is no time for attachment in my life. Not even with this amazing girl who giggles at my jokes and squeals when I pretend to turn down a dark alleyway, just to hear her laugh.

There are a lot of alleys in Westport. I get a lot of laughs. She isn’t making like she wants a boyfriend either, which means tonight is perfect. After all, New Year's Eve is a time for new beginnings. And god knows I could use a fresh start. An evening with Melissa would be the perfect way to kiss 2015 good-bye. And I would make that good-bye scream my name so many times...

"Are you sure we can't just stop here?" I spin her around and kiss her again. Fuck, that mouth of hers. Hey, there’s an idea. "Because you are making me fucking crazy. I can’t look at you with clothes on anymore." She narrows her eyes. Those bedroom eyes. Fuck. They were bright green, so opposite of my brown, and framed by dark eyelashes. Dark hair, bright eyes, a killer smile. I’m only half-joking. I’d take her right here on the street if it wasn't illegal. That doesn’t always stop me, but it would be a real mood-killer to deal with legal ramifications right about now.

"Naughty boy." She purrs. "If you keep propositioning me like this, I don't know that I can say no. However, I can't go to jail because I'm..."

"A prostitute? A drug dealer?" Again with the half-jokes.

"Sure." She smiles brightly and kisses me with wandering hands.
I’m starting to rethink my seconds-ago decision not to bang her in the middle of 42nd St. "How much further?"

Melissa extends an arm behind her, towards a tall complex not quite a block away. "Number four-oh-five."

"The elevator is close enough." I kiss her again, her sweet taste basically all I’m living for right now, and throw her back over my shoulder. Did I mention chicks love this move?

"Don't let me flash anyone!" She squeals.

"I can’t make any promises," I say. And I can’t, but I guarantee I’m moving too quick for anyone to get a good view. We are so close to her place. I jog across the street and through the small lobby. The elevator is small and rickety, and the bumps and jolts serve two-fold as we continue making out. Her moans drive me insane. All this just from kissing? We’re gonna get a noise complaint for sure once I show her all my moves.

"Okay," she breathes as the elevator opens to her floor. She smooths her hair and digs through her purse for her keys. "I was not planning on bringing anyone back, so you are not allowed to judge me by my lack of cleanliness."

Girls, man. I’ve never seen a “messy” girl’s room that could hold a candle to Zach’s. "I haven't seen my floor in weeks," I reassure her as she pulls me back towards to the door. She unlocks it somehow, and we all but fall in, locked again in heated kisses. We kiss from the door to the bedroom, bumping into furniture and walls, giggling and shedding our clothing. By the time we reach her bed (perfectly made, by the way) I’m in nothing but my boxer-briefs and she's in a lacy pair of boy shorts. God, I love boy shorts. "It's like you were made just for me." I didn’t necessarily mean for her to hear that. It’s true, though, as I’m prowling around her, she’s literally everything I’ve ever jacked o—dreamed of, I mean. Yeah, that. Before we disappear between her sheets, I want to imprint into my memory every fucking perfect inch. Every dip, every curve, every smooth line. I’m going to taste every inch, but my eyes are hungry, too. Sex is like eating a gourmet meal, as much to be done with your eyes as with your stomach, or, in this case, my cock.
"Like what you see?" She asks.

Oh, do I. It’s better than Lidia’s pasta trio, and nothing is better than Lidia’s pasta trio. "You have no idea," I let my voice drop to a low rumble. "No fucking idea." Mostly because I’m not sure how to explain that I just mentally compared her to very sexy noodles.

"Show me." Now that I can do.
