There’s always that one girl who has all these dreams, yet she can’t reach them because she’s constantly tripping over her own two feet.

That’s me. I’m that girl. The unorganized, chaotic, hot mess.

I’m the struggling artist who refuses to give up my love for pizza just because society constantly shoves thin, perfectly toned bodies in my face saying that’s what women are supposed to look like.

Oh, and I’m filthy rich. On paper anyway. I can’t touch my trust fund just yet, so to get those nasty debt-collectors off my back I rent out the snazzy mansion my parents left me.

Of course it has to be Tate Montgomery who moves in—the super sexy celebrity with three million, five hundred and twenty-six followers on Instagram. And of course I have to be the paint-covered walking disaster who falls for said famous tenant.

The problem? Tate and I, we’re not compatible…at all. He’s arrogant. I’m stubborn. It’s a train wreck waiting to happen.
Hot Mess by R. Linda is a funny and romantic read about two people from two different worlds. Wren needs money, not that she doesn't have any, but she can't access it until she is of age. In the interim, she rents out her parents home and in walks Tate. This take is sweet and with the right amount of quirkiness. This story has great characters and a good plot. I do think some of the comedy felt a little forced, but overall, I really liked this book and highly recommend it to others. I flipped between 3.5 stars and 4 stars on this book, but because there were times it made me laugh and I liked the story, I decided on 4 stars. One click this book today!
This is the first book I have read by this author, and it was a good read. I would give it a 3.5 stars and recommend to others.

Wren is a "starving" artist who is your typical rich girl that now has to live "poor". Well, that is until her trust fund kicks in... so she has to find a way to pay the bills because there is no way she can sell her parents house or their things. She decides to rent out the house and for her to move back to the pool house, what she doesn't expect is for the famous Tate to rent her house and he comes with nothing but trouble...

Tate has to lay low for a while and what better way to do that then to get away from his home and rent a house in the Hills... but what he didn't bargain for was the hot mess of the owner of the property to be in his every thought...

They are from two different worlds but when they collide it will set off sparks.... can they find a way to bring their worlds together?

Wren has money, it's just not accessible until she turns 25. She is struggling to get by and finally decides to rent out her parents home. She isn't ready to part with their stuff since they died, but at least renting would bring in income to pay the bills.

Tate Donovan, famous male model is one applicant, but with him comes his girlfriend. Tate needs to step out of the limelight for a bit so that he can uphold his image, but his girlfriend does nothing but bring that down.

The interaction between Wren and Tate is a mix between endearing, sizzling and a bit of hilarity. Tate finds himself wanting to be around Wren more and more, and Wren discovers he is more than what the media portrays him as.

So what happens before Tate's lease is up? You definitely need to one click now.
