We had a preview of Moses Bueford Gaspard in the The Fight Forever and Magnolia in the Ruthless Trilogy. It was equally as nice to see Mount and Kiera again.
Moses is back to win over Magnolia. Only problem is, hes been gone for 15 years. He said he'd be back but Magnolia did not think it'd be 15 years later.
She refuses to let him back in even though all of her feeling rise right back to the surface. Moses has a lot of road to cover to gain her trust and affection. And just as things are starting to look on the up and up for them, Mount drops a bombshell of a secret, not to mention someone is gunning for Magnolia to be dead.
I definitely could not put this book down and can't wait for the Defiant Queen to come out. Get to one-clickin'!
