The conclusion to Calli's and her "Demon Boy's" story was absolutely PERFECT! This author kept me on the edge of my seat from book one of Calli's tale to this conclusion.

Each major character in this will hold a piece of my heart; Calli, Daemon. Nico, and Ant - each endured tragedy beyond imagination in this one. Dark Legacy picked up from the ending of Dark Princess. Who survived, who passed away, and who is forever changed? The torture Ant and Daemon suffered, man! The sacrifice they each made, especially Ant, for Calli. And Alex, he truly was a stand-up guy taking care of Calli and not giving in to her temptation. My heart broke for Calli and her brother, Nico, at the news they received that forever changed their family and their future.

From chapter one of Dark Knight to the last word of this story, Dark Legacy, this author weaved a tale filled with such emotion, many rollercoaster highs and lows, and happiness that I felt as though I lived and experienced each moment with these people. The cast of characters each played their part well. I can't wait to read more from this author.
