He kissed me once. I've been running from it for seven years.
Puck Lust, an all-new age-gap, hate to love, MM hockey romance from bestselling author Brooklyn Cate is now available!

Jack Larson was everything I wanted to be—hockey god, fearless, untouchable. I told myself I was obsessed with his game, not him. That the way I watched him move on the ice, the way I hung on his every word, the way I felt when he smiled at me—that was just admiration. Hero worship.
Then he kissed me in that empty locker room, and my carefully constructed world exploded.
I panicked. Said things I didn't mean. Watched him walk away and disappear into the NHL draft without a goodbye.
Seven years later, I have everything I thought I wanted—a coveted spot on the Oakland Raptors, a reputation as one of the league's most adored players, and a carefully curated life where feelings don't complicate the game.
Until fate throws Jack Larson back into my path.
Now we're teammates, and management has a brilliant idea to solve what they believe is our junior hockey rivalry tension—force us to room together on every road trip.
If only they knew what our issues really were.
Every night in that hotel room is torture. Every stolen glance on the ice sets me on fire. And every day, I'm forced to confront the truth I've been running from since I was a teenager: I'm not straight. Never was. And Jack Larson is the reason I know.
But Jack is carrying secrets darker than our shared past, secrets that could destroy his career and his life. When I discover the truth about what he's been hiding, I'll have to choose between the safe life I've built and the dangerous, beautiful reality of loving the man who awakened something in me I never knew existed.
Some discoveries change everything. Others burn your world to the ground and force you to build something better from the ashes.
In a sport where vulnerability is weakness and secrets are weapons, can two men find the courage to fight for a love that could cost them everything—or save them both?
A second-chance MM hockey romance featuring forced proximity, sexual awakening, hurt/comfort, and two professional athletes learning that the biggest risk isn't on the ice. It's opening your heart.

If you love hockey romance, you need to check this one out. Puck Lust will keep you on the edge of your seat and your gut twisting...and that's all before other things happen. And then...you need to read it to find out what I mean. The story pulls you in with a great cast of characters and a story that is well-developed. I did feel like it dragged here and there, but it did not distract at all from the story itself. 4 stars.
