Release Blitz: Playtime's Over by R.L. Mathewson

Title: Playtime's Over
A Neighbor from Hell Series Standalone
Author: R.L. Mathewson
Genre: Contemporary Romance
Tropes: Enemies to Lovers, Rom Com
Release Date: January 23, 2026

BLURB

Six years is a long time to wait for revenge…

From New York Times Bestselling Author R.L. Mathewson comes the next novel in the Neighbor from Hell series, filled with revenge, questionable choices, and a Bradford determined to make the one woman that he couldn’t live without fall in love with him.

Once upon a time, Kristen Haven was his best friend, his entire world, and the one woman Garrett Bradford couldn’t stop thinking about, but that all changed six years ago when a simple misunderstanding ruined everything, and now…

Now, he was really hoping that she was willing to overlook the fact that he’d made her life a living hell for the past six years.

It was never going to happen.

Not after he’d told her to go to hell, and definitely not after he sent clowns to frolic in her front yard. Now that he knew the truth, Kristen was determined to forget about him and move on with her life, but there was just one problem with that plan…

She needed him.

Which meant that she had no choice but to give in to his demands, remind herself that she needed him whenever the urge to beat the hell out of him with whatever was within reach hit, and pretend that she wasn’t falling in love with the one man that she could never forgive.

A romantic comedy about second chances, revenge, questionable life choices, and one man determined to win back the only woman he’s ever loved…whether she likes it or not.

I was really excited to jump back into the Neighbor from Hell series by R.L. Mathewson—it’s been a few years since I last read one, and I remember absolutely loving these books. Playtime’s Over definitely brought back some of that classic Bradford chaos and humor that made the series so fun in the first place.

The second-chance romance between Kristen and Garrett had a lot of potential, and I did enjoy the tension, history, and the whole “he’s been in love with her all along” dynamic. There were moments that made me smile and reminded me why I fell for this series to begin with.

That said, this one didn’t resonate with me quite as much as some of the earlier books. At times, the humor and character interactions felt a bit more over-the-top than I personally prefer, which made it a little harder for me to fully connect with the story. The recurring catchphrase among the characters, which gives the dialogue a very distinct style  did start to stand out to me as the book went on.

Overall, I’d say this was a solid, enjoyable read—especially for longtime fans of the series—but not my favorite installment. I’m still glad I picked it up, and I’ll always have a soft spot for the Bradfords and their over-the-top antics.

Release Blitz: The Hunter by T.K. Leigh

Title: The Hunter
Series: Hunter Trilogy #1
Author: T.K. Leigh
Genre: Dark Romance
Tropes: Morally Gray Hero/Captive Romance
Opposites Attract/Hades X Persephone Retelling
Release Date: August 7, 2025

BLURB

To take down a monster, you have to become one.

Victor Kane thought he was untouchable… Until he took something that didn't belong to him.

Now I’ll burn his empire to the ground, starting with the one thing he holds dearest.

His wife.

But Ariana Kane is no fragile flower.

She’s colder than winter, sharper than any thorn, and hiding secrets darker than my own.

I took her as a pawn in this ruthless game of revenge.

I didn’t expect to keep her.

And I sure as hell didn’t expect to crave her with every beat of my dead, cold heart.

She was supposed to be a means to an end.

But the deeper I drag her into my world, the more I realize some queens aren’t made for the light.

And some gods fall hardest for the goddess they were never meant to touch.

The Hunter is the first book in a brand new dark romance trilogy from USA Today Bestselling Author T.K. Leigh.

Book one (well titled) in a trilogy and I am ready for this story to continue.

In order to bring down the enemy, he must hit him where it hurts. And this anti-hero does just that when he captures the wife. But, she isn't some simpering damsel in distress. This MFC knows how to stand her ground and doesn't just go with the flow.

This action-packed beginning is filled with emotion, heat, and enough suspense to keep you flipping the pages.

With this being the first in a trilogy, it does end on a cliffhanger. With that said, this book flows at a wonderful pace, is well-written, with great character development and sets the stage (and craving) for the next book.

I would definitely recommend for fans of dark romance, suspense, and emotional romance stories.

This is the first book in a trilogy about vengeance, obsession, and unexpected desire. It follows a ruthless anti-hero determined to bring down his enemy by kidnapping the one thing he holds most dear—his wife. But Ariana Kane isn’t the helpless victim he expected. She’s sharp, secretive, and just as dangerous as the man who took her.

This is a fast-paced, intense read that pulls you in quickly and doesn’t let go. The chemistry between the characters crackles from the start, and the emotional push-and-pull makes for a highly addictive story. While the book definitely leans into the darker side of romance—with morally gray characters and a revenge-driven plot—it never loses its emotional core.

One thing to note: this does end on a cliffhanger, so be prepared to want to dive into the next installment right away. Still, the pacing is tight, and the writing is compelling enough to make it a quick and satisfying read overall.

Recommended for fans of dark romance, morally gray anti-heroes, and high-stakes emotional drama.

Blog Tour and Giveaway: Flipping the Script by Willow Dixon

FLIPPING THE SCRIPT
Legacy Mechanics - Book One
by Willow Dixon
Release Blitz
Release Date: September 26, 2024
Cover Design: Lori Jackson Design
Genre: M/M Romance Standalone
Trope: Enemies to lovers, childhood rivals to lovers, forced proximity, hurt/comfort, there's only one bed, primal play and fighting as foreplay
Jesse
After years of working my butt off, I’m finally living the life I always wanted. I have a job I love, friends who’ve become family, and I’m enjoying the freedom of being single.

Then Sebastian, my childhood rival, moves back to town and my perfect life is thrown into chaos. We’ve always hated each other, but now there’s something else between us. Something wild and primal, something that wants to make Sebastian submit as much as it wants to claim him.

Hooking up with the guy I hate is probably the stupidest thing I’ve done, and that’s saying a lot. But it’s hard to remember why it’s a bad idea when he’s the only person who’s ever made me lose control, and the only man I can’t stay away from.

Sebastian
Retiring from the music industry at twenty-five wasn’t in my long-term plans. Neither was moving home after being away for seven years. But here I am with a serious case of burnout and no idea what I want to do with the rest of my life.

I hoped that moving back would give me a chance to shed my public persona and just be Sebastian again, but that doesn’t seem to be happening any time soon.

The only thing in my life that makes sense is my old rivalry with Jesse, the guy I’ve hated since we were eight. Arguing with him is as exhilarating as it is familiar, and no one is more surprised than me when a fight leads to our first kiss, then more.

Jesse may be the most annoying person I’ve ever known, but the tension between us is too strong to ignore. I hate that I want him but love that he can’t stay away from me either.

Add to your TBR List!
Do you like your main characters dishing it out and creating the kind of tension you can cut with a knife? Then you are going to want to check out Flipping the Script. Well written, this book had me shaking my head and grinning as I turned the page to see what Jesse and Bas would get up to next. Some of it was cringy worthy, but all of it was dumped into the pot to form a great story that I thought was entertaining and great. I highly recommend you pick up this 4.5 star book today!

What can I say about myself? It’s kind of like being the new kid in school and being asked to tell everyone a bit about yourself. Anyone else forget everything they’ve ever liked, thought of, and even their name in those moments?

A few facts about me; I’m a veteran, I’m Canadian, and I love books! I’ve been writing my own stories since I was eight and wrote my first novel at sixteen. I’m the first to admit those attempts weren’t my best work, but they started me on a journey of creating stories that has led me to fulfilling my dream of becoming an author. I’ve written and published in several genres under different names, but MM is by far my favorite, and I’m so happy to be able to share my stories with people today.

I currently live on Canada’s east coast with my kiddo and my cats. I have a shoe collecting addiction, and I enjoy taking long walks, discussions with friends, and reading anything and everything I can get my hands on.

Release Blitz: A Dawn of Gods and Fury by KA Tucker

A Dawn of Gods & Fury by K.A. Tucker is now live!

From internationally bestselling author K.A. Tucker comes the fourth and final novel in her Fate and Flame series, an adult fantasy story that should be read in series order.

"Prophecy always finds a way."

The will of the fates has come to pass. Monsters swarm from the depths, while dragons soar overhead. And the throne of Islor lies vacant... but not for long.

Fleeing the merciless sirens, Tyree and Annika find themselves stranded on a distant shore. Forced together to survive, they find old magics and terrifying new enemies.

For Romeria and Zander, the long-held secrets of the casters' magic reveal a chance to finally master the power that has held all their lives in the balance for too long.

But with power comes betrayal. And sacrifices must be made.

The final book in the captivating Fate & Flame series.

We jumped right in where we left off. The rift wide open with all sorts of evil, unimaginable creatures spilling out and attacking everyone. Romeria is determined to save this land and all its inhabitants - to restore peace and harmony.

So many obstacles stand in their way. Every time they take a step forward they are forced to take a step back

I loved seeing all vantage points from different characters. We were able to look in on Atticus and visit a realm that none of his people had been to. And watching Tyree and Annika try to survive and learning to depend upon the other... Absolutely devine.

You will absolutely not be disappointed in reading this. Make sure you check out the whole series if you haven't already!

BOOK HANGOVER IS REAL!! This whole series has been amazing and just sucks you right in. It is non-stop and can feel on the verge of overwhelming, but it never crosses that line. Great characters, amazing story, and the imagery is over the top. You can picture everything clearly as you are reading.

Like the others, this one brings you back to where we left off and continue the journey. Nothing is ever easy for these two, and i really think the author loves to torture them. LMAO. But the push and pull of everything is what keeps you turning page after page. You need to know what happens.
