Life is odd. I was finishing this book when I received the news about Sandrine Gasq-Dion. I was in shock. I love her stories and the way she weaves her words. She will be sorely missed and my condolences go out to her family and loved ones.
Stan is in hiding and doesn't want anyone to find out who he is. Rebel is running from love and anything permanent because he is afraid. But something neither one can deny is that there is chemistry between them.
Once again, Sandrine wrote a great story with memorable characters. I absolutely loved the grandfather. I will say that this book is part of a series, but it can be read as a standalone without any issues. The story was well written and intriguing, and had enough suspense that held me captive. I highly recommend one clicking on this book. 4.5 stars.
