Nevertheless, that’s how I met Ford, and we started messaging. He made me laugh; yet I was adamant that because of his age, we could only be friends. But after weeks of wearing me down, I finally agreed to one date only—my first after twenty years of being with my high school sweetheart. I knew it couldn’t last, but I was curious about him.

Though, you know what they say…curiosity kills the cat.

I have to say this book was not how I expected it to be. I ended up enjoying this book once I got past the stigma of reverse age gap of older woman and much younger man.

Valentina is recently divorced and has entered back into the dating game. One swipe on an app and she is immediately smitten with her match Donovan. Deciding to meet up Val realizes he looks familiar. He was none other than Ford Donovan, the son of her neighbors. Mortified she leaves and cuts off all contact with him.

But they had formed a connection and Ford wants to continue and explore further if a real relationship is possible.

A super spent in their respective summer homes brings them back together.

All Grown Up was another great story by the infamous Vi Keeland! I would give this story a 4 stars and highly recommend to others for sure. This is a bit of an age gap book but it didn't bother me at all!

Ford has not had an easy life, he had to grow up fast because of a tragedy that struck his family. He had to find his way in early in life so now at 25 he feels he can take on the world, and what he wants is just out of his reach but he will not go down without a fight....

Valentina is a single parent at the age of 37, she had to grow up fast as well because she got pregnant when she was 17. So now her son is 19 and away at college and her divorce is final.. its time for Val to start making life about her... but what she wants is forbidden and she will try everything in her power to deny Ford, but in the end will it be enough?
