I have to say I generally don't read paranormal, but I decided to pick up this book because one of my fav author's wrote the story. I am glad I picked it up and would give it a 3.5 stars. At the same time I guess I didn't realize it was book 5. I did enjoy the story and from what I gather all the books can be read as standalone's, but I was a bit confused by all the characters and the "creature" of sorts that they were. I think if anyone is going to read this story and get the full enjoyment you need to read the others first- just my opinion. So of course that is what I will be doing for sure!
 
Timber and Kyra both leading unknown paths in the lives will finally get some light shined on there paths when they are brought together. Is it fate? Can they get past a huge roadblock to finally be together?

I love me a hot and steamy paranormal book. I especially love when the paranormal characters are descendants of gods.
