That would unfortunately be correct.

I was hanging with the girls, celebrating my divorce when I saw him, my crush, sitting in the corner of the bar all alone. Being single and looking for a wild night, I asked him if he wanted to join me. To my delight, he said yes.

Drinks were consumed, fun was had and then . . . one drunken conversation with a cranky gondolier in Las Vegas led to an Uber lift through a drive-thru wedding chapel with the incredibly hot, British bad boy, Pike Greyson.

On paper, it seemed like I hit the jackpot. And if I wasn't fresh from a toxic marriage, I would have absolutely noticed the finer things about him.

But I wanted nothing to do with being married, so when I arrived back home from my eventful weekend in Vegas, the last thing I expected to see was a new doting husband already moved in.

I asked for an annulment, he pulled a Ross Geller and said no.

That's right, he said NO! Instead, he asked for three months to prove we could be good together.

Insanity clearly knocked him in the head and the only way I could convince him to give up on our sham of a marriage was to show him just how wrong we were for each other. Only problem with that was, he saw right through my every prank, every trick, and every yearning emotion I attempted to mask.

I absolutely loved this story! It starts off with a bang, slowly simmers until it’s a rolling boil of steaminess, angst and love.

Here we have Cora Turner’s (Arlo’s sister) story and the new History Teacher, Pike Greyson. Cora has tried many times to get Pike’s attention and it isn’t until she is in Vegas (with the girls) on a Divorce-cation that she finally gets it. We aren’t talking a one night, like she was hoping for, but waking up to find out that they are married. But it can be annulled, right?

Only problem is, Pike wants to see if this marriage can go the distance and not just be a drunkin’ mistake. The lengths that Cora goes through to try and scare away Pike are hilarious… but deep down there are reason why she is the way she is. And Pike may have wanted to stay married for a reason but the more time they spend together the more he really wants to give this marriage a go.

This book was amazing. I ran the full gamut of emotions from happy, to sad, to laughing hysterically. And all the Keiko appearances – solid gold! Definitely one click this gem now!

Wow! What a good read this was! I've been waiting for Cora's book, and I was definitely not disappointed! I love that she goes on a divorce-cation and walks away married. I mean, who does that? I mean, who wouldn't do that if it involved the new history teacher, Pike? Ok, so it was a drunken mistake. No biggie - right? Wrong. Pike doesn't want to give up, so Cora goes to GREAT lengths to scare him away.

As usual, Meghan Quinn has delivered a hot, sweet, and hilarious installment to her never disappointing book list. Don't miss this one!

This book has it all-humor, romance, comedy all wrapped up in one wonderful read with characters I LOVE! Characters with baggage? Yes. Fun antics with supporting cast? Check! Romance? Oh yeah... An enjoyable ride of a story from start to finish? You betcha!

I can't wait for even more Meghan Quinn stories in 2022! This was absolutely a fabulous start to the year.
