It’s been a whole year since A Fate of Wrath and Flame came out and I have been, not so, patiently waiting for the second book to come out. I was entrenched from the very first page, but admittedly, it took me a little bit to reacclimatize and remember the characters.
Zander is helping Romeria, against his desire, get out of Cirilea. He plans to help her as far as he can and then go back to try and reclaim his throne. But fate has other plans, and now he and his legion of soldiers are racing against time to discover if the curse is real, and if Romy is the key to unlocking everything – to breaking this curse and making their world a better place.
I absolutely loved this book. All the characters were amazing, the story line was fast paced and unpredictable. And then there is Romy and Zander – he is so determined to keep a wall between them, not knowing if his feelings are true, but slowly that wall crumbles.
