Miles and Brooke have a very obvious attraction to one another but will they give into it? No. Why? Well, because she doesn't date ball players and her brother would kick his behind if he started dating his younger sister.

But, what are they to do when she wants a form of revenge and the only person who can help her is Mile? Well, they "fake it" until they can't anymore.

I absolutely loved this book. The tropes were some of my faves, the characters were well-developed, and the storytelling brought everything to life for us readers. I am looking forward to the next book!

Brooke Ellis has been cut off, financially, from her mother. Trying to figure out her next steps, she is looking to become an ambassador for a fellow Sister’s clothing line. A weekend event is her chance to prove that she is the girl to do that job. It doesn’t hurt that she enlists the help of her brother best friend and teammate, Miles Garrett. It can’t hurt to pretend to be a loving couple for a weekend, especially since she’s always had a secret crush on him.

Miles Garrett is a star basketball guard for the Denver Kodiaks. He’s always had a connection to Brooke and is only too happy to help her out for the weekend. But as things start to heat up between them, everything else starts to fall apart. An emergency has Miles rushing back home, leaving Brooke alone.

I really like Miles and Brooke’s characters. Miles is all about letting Brooke do her own thing while gently supporting her. And Brooke is slowly learning that not being perfect is ok, and that maybe having someone to lean on isn’t so bad either.

Be warned, this ends on a huge cliffhanger. Can’t wait to see what happens next.
