Release Blitz and Review: Naughty and Nice by Aleatha Romig

Aleatha Romig
Release Date: November 17
Cartel romance, marriage of convenience, slow burn, protective hero, unexpected love, independent heroine, he falls first, age-gap, organized crime, morally gray hero, widow heroine, trauma recovery, dangerous romance
As a newly declared lieutenant in the Roríguez cartel, I’m told I need a wife. The cartel allegiance with the Luciano family has mandated multiple matrimonial mergers. However, I’m not looking for a wife in the true sense of the word. Liliana Ruiz has been in my life for years. I’d never before looked at her as a woman to pursue. When I first met her, she was damaged and timid.

Time allowed Liliana to grow into not only a beautiful woman, but an independent soul. She doesn’t want to marry, yet the time will come when it isn’t her choice. Maybe I can convince her to a mutually agreeable solution: marriage in name only.

Everything changes when danger threatens the Roríguez cartel.

Spend the holidays with the familiar characters from the Luciano famiglia and Roríguez cartel in this 34,000-word Brutal Vows novella—complete story with HEA.

This novella was exactly what the title promised — Naughty and Nice. It’s a quick, spicy read that still manages to deliver emotional depth and tension. Though it’s interconnected with Brutal Vows, it can be enjoyed as a standalone. That said, I’d definitely recommend reading the series for the full experience and to truly appreciate the returning characters.

We’ve met Lilliana before in Till Death Do Us Part, and I loved getting this inside peek at what happened to her next. She’s grown so much — from a timid, damaged woman to a strong, independent heroine who is learning her worth. And then there’s Nick — tough and controlled on the outside, but loyal, protective, and deeply loving when it comes to Lilliana. He’s the perfect blend of danger and devotion.

This story gives us everything we expect from a dark, romantic mafia world:
Cartel romance, marriage of convenience, slow burn, protective hero, age gap, trauma recovery, and of course, plenty of heat.

A fast-paced, emotionally satisfying novella that fits perfectly within the larger series — Naughty and Nice is the ideal read when you want a dose of danger, desire, and a happily-ever-after that feels earned.

Naughty and Nice - a novella that brings the sweetness and spice you crave from an Aleatha Romig story. It was a fast-paced read that fills all your emotional needs you read a dark, mafia romance to get.

We have two leading characters - Lilliana and Nick - who connect and fit together beautifully. With the baggage Lilliana carries with her, Nick was the strength she needed to give herself permission to come out of her shell and become the woman we all (readers who met her in a previous book) knew she was capable of being.

If you are in the mood for a quick read filled with sugar, spice and all things 'Naughty and Nice' this holiday season then you NEED this one. Treat yourself to this dark, mafia romance with a gorgeous hero, sweet, strong heroine, and off-the-pages chemistry.
