Childhood friends, royalty, and a feisty heroine all make for one great read. I enjoyed the backstory, getting to know more about Pippa. The revealing of her past does leave you with a shock, but it only endears Pippa to you, the reader, more.

And Lars. Well, he's swoon-worthy. I loved him! I thought he and Pippa were perfect.

Vivian provides the readers with a beautiful story that is just what the romantic in all of us needs and craves. I would recommend this one to anyone a fan of royalty, romance, strong characters, and friends to lovers.
