Mind blown. Wow! This is one of those books where after you read it, you have to marinate and come back down to reality. It pulls you in and and doesn't want to let you go. I'm still reeling from it. First, you have a fantastic storyline that will play with your emotions and grab you, holding you until you feel like you're in the story. Second, it has an amazing cast of characters. Not only are the main characters great, but the supporting ones are as well. You experience everything they do, feel everything they do, and you want to both cry with them and encourage them. They become part of you while you read. Not all books can do this, and I was blown away. The story in some ways will also break you, but don't worry, the author will make you whole again.

I finished this book and had to take a day or two to come up with the right words for a review and am still trying to wrap my head around this amazing story. You have two characters with sizzling chemistry, a swoon-worthy H who embodies the “knight in shining armor” image and a h fitting the “damsel in distress” – a tale that begins with raw, deep, emotional heartbreak that ends in a heartwarming conclusion. I will not give the storyline away because I do feel you NEED to read it. It just wouldn’t be fair to skip it. Your emotions will be engaged while reading this gritty tale. Older man and younger woman (“forbidden love”), a beautiful couple whose story is fast-paced and packed full of action, tears, and smiles for a HEA (or HFN). From the first sentence to the last word, this story is worth the time (and loss of sleep) it takes to read it… and the hangover you live through when you read the ending. I’d 1,000% recommend reading Daimon.
