This is my first time reading a book by Monica Murphy and I absolutely enjoyed it. I found myself turning the pages quicker and quicker as I became immersed in the story line.

Consummate bachelor, Perry Constantine, is being forced into an arranged marriage with virginal-like Charlotte Lancaster. Their two families companies will become more powerful once this union is complete. At first they are both dead set against it, but the more events they have to fake it through the more they come together. Just as things are starting to solidify between the two, Charlotte’s past comes out of nowhere to threaten everything they are striving for.

So what happens? I personally can’t wait to find out – this does end on a cliffhanger. I will impatiently be waiting for The Ruthless Groom (book 2) to come out. One-click now!

This is a first book from this author for me and I can honestly say I enjoyed it thoroughly. It had me turning the pages to see just how these two ended up working out their differences and how they would come to terms with their budding attraction.

Perry, the charismatic, protective charmer and Charlotte, the innocent, shy heroine create a beautiful relationship that I can't wait to finish in the next book.

This one does end on a cliff-hanger that leaves you craving and impatiently waiting for the next release.
