After Owned by a Sinner, I knew I HAD to have this one (and the rest in the series). This one was just as good, but on a different level that Owned.

Gabriel starts off as a bit of a hard @$$ without a care for others, only how to grow his business and name in the world of the Mafia. When a raid of vengeance goes awry and Lara is injured (after suffering a torturous punishment from her "owner"), she is taken to Gabriel's as a prisoner.

The story never has a dull moment. From action-packed highs to emotional lows, from joy to heartbreak, you are taken on a journey of healing, acceptance, forgiveness, and love. Lara's character line will leave you in tears when you hear what she goes through, but she grows.

I absolutely love this series and am so glad I read this book. I can't wait for more from these hard, dark, twisted men.
