I LOVED that this one had the MMC pursuing the MFC. I love that Ella stood her ground and held her guns in what she wanted or didn't want. I truly enjoyed watching Damien come to terms with the fact that he once lost the best thing to ever happen to him yet he was willing to go after her and bring her back.
This one had an evil half-brother set out to ruin our MMC and take all he has brought up from possible failure by taking advantage of a loophole in a will. It has a ruthless ex who, knowing what she wants, helps evil half brother in a way I shall not mention (you HAVE to read this one to find out) BUT, my FAVORITE part of this was the way Ella handled the situation.
Since this is the first of a duet, it does end on a cliffy, but I absolutely LOVE the way Ms. Romig ended this one... she gives us an answer but also leaves it wide open for book two, which I am soooo craving!
