I imagine stripping Lara out of her clothes and fastening her wrists and ankles to the St. Andrew’s cross. Teasing her with the perfect application of intermittent pleasure until she goes mad and begs me for a release.
Or even better, a genuine relationship.
But I’d settle for her orgasm.

This story is on mt list of stories to keep and return to on a winter night when I am sitting in front of a warm fire, snuggled in my blanket with a cup of hot cocoa, and need a steamy read to fill my mind before bed. It checks many of my favorite tropes in one book: dark Mafia, forced proximity, enemies-to-lovers, possessive male and strong female. What is not to love!
