Release Blitz: The Irish Oracle by Nicole Demery

Release Date: June 4

An apprentice seeress. A mischievous shifter.

A family mystery that will catch up with her in the end.

Abandoned. That’s what I was.

Left on an all-but deserted island by the man who’d sworn to protect me.

Now I was left with one terrible choice:

Learn the craft of clairvoyance that had eluded me my entire life and save my family’s legacy.

Or fail miserably and ruin the world for fey everywhere.

But when I meet a charismatic selkie, more change looms on the ocean’s horizon.

Will he thwart my training even more?

Or will he help me become the oracle I’m meant to be?

Cassandra Whelan’s timeline has been moved up. She is now headed to Ireland to be taught and to master her Seer gift. Only she discovers she is more… In Ireland we learn more about the past, her grandmother and grandfather, and some new family as well. And Jonathan is there to help her through.

The angst and attraction between these two is off the charts. But something is coming their way, something dark and it’s up to Cassandra to stop it. I can’t wait for the next book!

I used to love fantasy/paranormal stories. I went through a period of reading where that was all I read. Then, I grew bored and drew away from the genre. But, with this book, I think I am drawn back to that love again.

This author is new to me, and because I enjoyed reading about Cassandra and her gifts, and where life took her because of who/what she is, I had to go back to the beginning and start this series from book 1.

I would recommend this one, definitely, to anyone who is a fan of a bit of mystery, love, family/history, and, of course, the fantasy/paranormal. I look forward to starting this series from the beginning so I can read Cassandra's journey from the start.

Well done.

Prior to becoming a USA Today best-selling author, Nicole Demery originally

told stories as a literature and history instructor while working on her Ph.D. in early American Studies.

When not writing, she spends time with her three children, her husband, a brooding scientist, and daydreaming about her next novel.

Nicole writes books that combine the fantastical with the historical, plus a solid dash of romance. Her characters explore the ins and outs of history and myth while remaining as real as anyone you might meet.
