When Mary and Roman Stephenson die in a fatal accident, they leave their 5-year old twins orphaned in a foreign land. Their last wish was that their respective siblings, Bram Carter and Tessa Stephenson, bring them up as a family. But Bram and Tessa have never even met, and when they do sparks begin to fly. Bram is a confirmed bachelor, and Tessa is well aware of that fact. She is committed to her life and career in Oklahoma City and wants to raise the children there, but Bram is CEO of a large company and wants to raise them in New York City.

The Scottish nanny, Mrs. MacThomas, has the unenviable job of trying to help Bram and Tessa get along, fall in love, and raise the twins as Mary and Roman wished. Although sparks fly whenever Bram and Tessa are together, there is always something in the way. Not least of which is Bram’s last fling, the beautiful socialite Katrina Rutherford.

What a heartwarming book!

When Tessa's brother and his wife Mary die in a car accident, they leave the care of their twins in the hands of Tessa and Bram, Mary's brother. The stipulation - they had to raise the twins together, as a family. The problem - Tessa lives in Oklahoma City and Bram in New York. What follows is a winding tale full of miscommunication and love.

I really enjoyed this book. The characters had depth and were believable. It flows nicely, and I couldn't put it down! Do yourself a favor this summer and spend a little time reading this book!
This one was an emotional one for me to read because the author did an incredible job of creating characters who were real; their emotions and feelings were strongly written and allowed the reader to experience them, too. The storyline, while one I have read similar one before, was still a fresh read for me. While the romance was quick to begin, afterward, the story flowed at a realistic pace and I fell in love with this family. A rough, raw story of how tragedy can still bring forth something beautiful.

I enjoyed this one and would recommend this to fellow romance lovers. Well done!

Get the tissues ready, you are going to need them. I expected an emotional read that would take me on a roller coaster ride, and I got more than that. It was emotional with a cast of characters that are as real as the people in your daily life. I loved the story, and while there were a couple of things that I thought were rushed, the whole story worked. It was wonderfully-written and will have your emotions swinging like a pendulum. It is a must read! One-click this 4.5 star read today!
