We met on a Tuesday. Became best friends, then lovers, on a Tuesday. And everything fell apart on a Tuesday… Charlotte Taylor has three automatic strikes in my book:

 1) She hates me. She also claims that I’m a “domineering jerk with a huge, overbearing ego.” (I do have something huge. It’s not my ego, though.)

2) She takes our mandatory tutoring sessions way too seriously.

3) She’s sexy as hell…And a virgin.

At least, those were her strikes before our study sessions started lasting longer than they were supposed to. Until one innocent kiss became a hundred dirty ones, and until she became the first woman I ever fell hard for. Our future together after graduation was supposed to be set:

Professional football for me. Law school for her. But she left me at the end of the semester with no explanation, and then she completely disappeared from my life. Until tonight. We met on a Tuesday. Became everything, then nothing, on a Tuesday. And now it’s seven years later, on a Tuesday…

*This is a full length second chance romance, inspired by Adele’s “When We Were Young”
On a Tuesday was a witty and sometimes awkward and heartbreaking story written by Whitney G. and narrated by Erin Mallon and Joseph Discher. Don't let that description fool you though because it was a great listen.

Story: 4.5 stars
Grayson is a professional football player. One invitation to his seven-year reunion has him reliving the past, and seeing his ex, makes him wanting to learn the truth...maybe even wanting something in the future? However, Charlotte has her own reasons for hating Grayson. Not only that, but he is the last person she wants to see. Will they get on the same page?

I thoroughly enjoyed this story. The banter between the two main characters kept me entertained and I didn't want to stop listening to the book. On top of that, the flashbacks gave us insight into the characters and what made them tick. I think there were a couple of times when it seemed a little much, but those were few and far between. The story flowed, the characters were likable, and the I found myself laughing several times. On the flip side, I also cringed more than once, but it wasn't because of the writing, it was the pain the characters were going through.

Narration: 4 stars
There are actually two narrators for this book, so I will review each one individually.

Erin Mallon: Erin brought her characters to life and was able to change her voice for each individual character. A couple of passages were monotoned, but she recovered quickly and was back in character quickly.

Joseph Discher: I had a few more issues with Joseph than I did with Erin, however, there were also times I thought he did better with the characters than Erin did. Each character had their own voice and their own personality.

Overall, I enjoyed this narration and I will definitely be giving this book another listen. The characters and the story flowed through the speakers and part of the reason I loved listening so much, was because Erin and Joseph brought their own twist to everyone in this story.

Overall: 4.5 stars
Wonderful story, great narration, and something if you wanted, you can listen to in one sitting. The audiobook is only about five hours long. I highly recommend this audiobook to everyone and suggest that you one click this book today. 4.5 stars!
