Blood roared in my ears as I took in his scent. Oh my God.I’d always wondered how a person knew when they’d met their fated mate. “You’ll just know” was all I was ever told by my Omega dad.
I knew, all right. I could feel it in every part of my body. I belonged to him and he belonged to me already and I hadn’t even heard him speak. All he had to do was give the word and I’d bare my neck, ready to bond.
I couldn’t form words. I never was good with people, least of all people I was attracted to. Though, that hadn’t happened in a long time. I would have to leave the house in order to meet someone and I didn’t do that very often, unless it was for work. In those cases, I kept it professional.
I didn’t feel very professional right now.
Up to Code by Jena Wade is a cute and quick read about an Omega who unexpectedly meets his alpha. Throw in some issues at work and a few threats, and you have an enjoyable story that is sweet and romantic.
I loved Aiden, and I think he was my favorite of the pairing. Don't get me wrong, Brandon was great, however, there were times I felt he was a bit one dimensional. The story progresses quickly and doesn't offer too much depth, but there is enough there to pull you in. That's not saying this story isn't good. I really liked it and highly recommend you one click it today. 4 stars.

My fists clenched instinctively. I couldn't help but feel angry at Fate for showing me my mate before he was ready. I often wondered if he would ever be ready. Usually, it was a magical moment full of marvel and enlightenment. Eyes met, fireworks burst, and nature took its course. A mate bond was established, and the couple lived happily ever after. I'd never heard an Alpha recognizing his mate before their Omega.
The second book of the series, Down to Earth, builds upon what the first book started, but this time we get to see Brandon's brother, Everett. He's known Matt was his for years...too bad Matt doesn't have the same inkling. Then again, Matt has a lot of secrets and ghosts in his past that hinder his ability. The story was romantic, sweet, and made you anticipate what would happen next.
This story let us revisit characters from book one, and get to know others a little more. I really liked it. I do think that some scenes were glossed over and rushed...parts could have used more development and suspense, but overall, I really liked it. 3.5 stars.

Something in the back of my mind whispered his name to me. I knew him. Though I had only seen him one time and spoken to him for less than a minute. He made his way over to me, the crowd parted for him as he moved through the room. I couldn't look away. I couldn't move. I didn't want to look away.
When he finally reached me, he smiled. There was kindness in his eyes, but also a heat and arousal that set my body on fire, and we hadn't even touched yet.
“Charles, right?” he said.
“Mate.” My hand flew to my mouth. I couldn't believe I’d said that aloud. I realized that it was the truth. The man, Victor, standing before me right now was my mate.

Back to You is the third and final book in this series. I loved finding out the history between Victor and Charles, Aiden's parents. Nothing is quite as easy as it appears. Sometimes a lifetime together makes you rest on your laurels, and Charles and Victor find out really quickly how bad that can be. Will they work it out?
Once again, the story was really good and flowed well. The characters and the world the author created keep building upon themselves with each story in the series. We see all of our favorite characters and learn even more about them. The end...loved it! There were a couple of times when the story dragged a little bit, but it didn't deter me too much and it is a quick read. I recommend one clicking this one today. 3.5 stars
