A great start to a new series by Dahlia Donovan. I grew up reading Agatha Christie and loved her mysteries. The way she took us on a journey and messed with our minds as we tried to figure out who did the crime...Dahlia Donovan has channeled her inner Agatha Christie and took us on a ride - one that isn't done quite yet. I'm going to tell you now, the other two books are also a mind trip and if you like murder mystery books, you will love this series.
I also want to applaud this author for making one of the main characters autistic. Where many shy away from subject matter of this sort, this author has never been one to do that and she brilliantly incorporated the disease into the story, giving everyone insight into Autism.
The story, twists, turns, and reveal were perfectly written, and I will admit that there was a couple of times when I got the who done it wrong. This book will keep you on the edge of your seat, make your gut flip, and keep you enthralled as you turn page after page to see what will happen next with Valor and Bishan. Their relationship is full of depth, as are their characters. This is a story that is a must read, and I highly recommend you one click this one today. 4.5 stars.
