Release Day Blitz and Review: Choose Me by Heidi McLaughling

choose me

Happy Release Day to Heidi McLaughlin and her new book in The Archer Brother Series - CHOOSE ME!

‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬

Two brothers.

One woman.

One son.

One choice.

Lives ripped apart, shattered and rebuilt.

Evan and Nate Archer: Brothers, best friends, warriors and now enemies. Both in love with the same woman. Both determined to fight for what they want.

Nate Archer promised to protect Ryley Clarke in the event Evan didn’t make it back. It’s a promise between brothers since the early days of basic training. Nate never considered that his feelings, long buried since high school, would resurface and grow stronger.

Evan Archer wants answers. He wants someone to pay. After being gone for an unprecedented amount of time, nothing is making sense now that he’s home. Most of all, he can't understand how his brother ended up engaged to his fiancĂ©e. Evan is determined to uncover the mystery, and win back his family.

The Archers are about to fight dirty.

Our kisses turn soft, less eager, but with more passion. Her hands move from my chest and onto my neck as her fingertips play with my earlobes. Horns honk in the background causing her to pull away, but not before I get another taste of her lips. I don’t know about her, but I’m having a hard time catching my breath and when she pulls away, the pink flush of her cheeks tells me she felt something too.

Choose Me by Heidi McLaughlin is the second book in The Archer Brothers Series. This book picks up right where the last book left the reader hanging, wondering who Ryley would choose, the love of her life and father of her son Evan who she thought died in action or his twin Nate who picked her up when she was broken from his death and loved her enough to bring her back to the land of the living. This book was a 3.5 star read for me and I recommend it to others who enjoy a good love triangle with a bit of mystery and intrigue surrounding it.

Evan Archer is determined to get back the life he left behind when he deployed on a mission. The love of his life and his son were all he could think about, finally becoming the family they were destined to be when he left.  He never expected to come home and find his girl engaged to his twin brother and for his fiancĂ© to be torn between the two of them while watching his son call someone else dad..

Nate Archer has loved Ryley almost as long as Evan has, always wishing that he hadn't allowed his twin brother to make a move first all those years ago. After his brother was killed in action, he picked Rykey up off the floor and helped her become the woman that she was always meant to be despite having a tragedy his family never imagined rock them to their core, essentially  tearing them apart. Now that his brother has come back from the dead literally, he has the fight of his life on his hands to keep the girl he loves and the family that they have created in Evan's absence.

Ryley is caught in the middle of feelings she never expected, a love she had when she was younger and a love she has now that grew over time. Who does she truly love to her core, the one that she can't live without that will make her happy? Is it Evan or Nate?

While Evan struggles with the rest of his team to understand what happened during this last deployment and why his family was told he died in action he is also struggling with watching Ryley wear his brothers ring all the while wanting to take her in his arms and kiss her senseless. Who will prevail in winning Ryley's heart for good? Will she stay with Nate who has become her rock and her strength all the time or will she return to the passionate love that she once had for Evan that led to their child EJ? The twist and turns that this story take will never be what the reader expects and I loved that I couldn't figure out what the ending would be until I actually read it! It caught my attention and kept it, from the very first page until the last and I don't doubt that you will feel the same!
