Five years ago, my dreams were shattered in an instant.
One year ago, a horrible rainstorm flooded a bridge in town, leaving us with an Inn full of stranded travelers. Turns out one of those travelers would give me a whole new set of dreams, ones I never thought possible. Brody Murphy spent the last year teaching me what it was like to live, and more importantly love, again.
Two days ago, he asked me to marry him, and if I’d said yes any faster, I would have interrupted the most romantic proposal ever offered. I can’t wait to marry him and spend the rest of our lives spoiling our Twinkies.
One year from now I’ll be Mrs. Kacie Murphy, assuming everything goes nice and smooth.
If
I wasn't already a little bit in love with Brody from the first two
books in the Cranberry Inn Series, I would have definitely fallen for
him after reading Room For Just A Little Bit More by
Beth Ehemann. This novella was a 5 star read for me and I recommend
this series to anyone looking for a feel good book that will make you
laugh, c ry and swoon all while hoping that I
can find my own caring, considerate, loving, hottie professional hockey
player.
Room For Just A Little Bit More centers
around the preparations to Brody and Kacie's wedding, how they tell the
girls, Brody's twinkies that they are getting married, and everything
that goes into marrying a superstar. Kacie is planning the wedding of
her dreams with her whole supportive family standing behind her to
assist in any way that they can. The stress of having everything come
together, overwhelms her at times, but whether she talks to Brody, her
mom, or her best friend, she
realizes
that marrying Brody no matter what stress the planning brings her is
well worth it.
I
loved how we got to see that Zach has taken a more predominant role in
his daughters' lives and has grown as a character from the previous two
books. I can admire what he has done to be the dad that he knows that
he should be, caring about the twins and
doing things to make sure that they are safe. It was great to
see how him and Brody were able to get along for the sake of the girls.
The
wedding was absolutely beautiful and I won't lie and say I didn't shed a
tear or two while reading it! I love that all of the surprises that
both Brody and Kacie had for each other; especially the vows that he
recited to his twinkies. That was the best part of the book, how Brody
loves those girls like they were his own flesh and blood.
And
what an ending! I was happy to see that Kacie and Brody were able to
expand their family and
give the twinkies a little sister. The love that they all have for
each other radiates off of the page and the reader can feel it while
reading each and every word. I cannot wait for the next story in this
series! THIS IS A MUST READ for all!!!
