Release Blitz: SINdicate by Maria James

Title: SINdicate
BT Urruela Fanfiction Novel
Author: Marie James
Genre: Romantic Suspense
 Release Date: May 25, 2016
BT Urruela is former military with scars from war that forever changed his life. He attends an acting class, is a personal trainer at an elite facility in Tampa, and is your typical warm-blooded male.

Life is pretty easy-going for BT... then Aviana Maguire catches his eye.

Aviana attends the same acting class as BT, but does her best to stay under the radar. She’s the product of a broken family and a less than desirable childhood. She’s riddled with emotional scars and has extreme trust issues with men and all relationships in general.

Life was hard for Aviana as she struggled daily to just stay afloat. Just when she thought life couldn’t get more difficult, she’s snatched away from her home as retribution for someone else’s mistakes.

Underworlds, debts, and an obsession for justice could change everything for them both.

BT may rescue the girl he tracked into the dark recesses of Las Vegas, but will she ever be the same?

Or will BT become so deeply involved in SIN, that he becomes the one needing to be rescued?

All proceeds go to charity

When I heard there was going to be a Fanfiction novel released and that it revolved around BT Urruela, I jumped at the chance to read it. Writing my own fanfiction, I’m a huge supporter of others who write it.

In this story BT Urruela’s girl is kidnapped and taken by the mob. It is up to him to find and rescue her with the help of some of his friends. Due to the way Aviana grew up, she doesn’t do relationships and she doesn’t trust men, but she is drawn to BT and fights it for as long as she can. And then she finds herself kidnapped and in the middle of a crime ring because of her father. Will BT be able to find and save her? Will she realize that not all men are bad and give BT a chance?

Marie James weaves a tale of crime syndicates and Vets who know how to handle business. Unfortunately, it fell short in some ways. Like I said, I love fanfiction and I know liberties can be taken that can’t be in a regular story; however, there were times when everything seemed instant and no build up, while at other times it dragged. I was even starting to see a familiar pattern in the ode to BT’s beard – it looks great and I love it, but it doesn’t need to be its own character. 3.5 stars. I still recommend this book, especially since a portion of the proceeds will go to a worthy cause: BT’s charity VETSports.

I'm a die hard BT Urruela fan so of course I was anxious to read this fan fiction. The opening scene shows BT asking a girl out, who hesitantly says yes. Having that happen right off the bat already felt rushed to me. Their date felt rushed and ... off. The plot twist that followed, now that was good. Parts of this story drag while other parts seemed to happen way to fast. The epilogue felt rushed too, insta love. Again, it's fan fiction so I'm not sure what I'd expect. I enjoyed it but can only give it 3.5 stars. The proceeds go to charity, so I'd still suggest buying it to help out a good cause.

Marie James: I’m a full-time, working mother of two boys and wife of 11 years. I've spent almost my entire lifetime living in central Texas, with only short stays in South Carolina, Alabama, and Florida. I've always wanted to write novels and just recently had the gumption to sit down and start one. My passions include reading everything under the sun and plotting out new books to write in the future.

Kincaid is my 7th book. I’ve also written the Hale Series, Love ME Like That, and a FanFiction named Psychosis, featuring up and coming cover model, Matthew Hosea, as the main character. This book was done for fun and all of the proceeds are going to charity. All of my books are currently available on Amazon.
