Muse Harper is in her twenties. She is an artist but works in retail in California. She is in California because it was the only way she could protect her father. They have scheduled, secretive calls and he fails to make one. Harper knows something is wrong and hires a bounty hunter by the name of Jasper King.

The sexual tension that radiates between Jasper and Harper is palpable. Lines become blurred as they embark on the journey to find her father. Jasper wants to stay isolated, to not have the "feels" but Harper has him feeling them anyways. He tries to turn it off but he can't. She has embedded herself deeply under his skin.

But what happens when every thing you know and trust isn't the full truth to begin with? This leaves Harper to question everything in her life, right down to her mother leaving when she was a child.

I haven't read a story in a while by M. Leighton and after reading Strong Enough it is a great reminder of what a fantastic author she is. This story was absolutely amazing and brilliant in every aspect and I devoured it right on the spot. There are so many twists and turns and unexpected things that happen it will have your mind going a mile a minute. I would give this book a 5 stars! It was steamy, sexy, smokin' hot read which is what our blog is all about! Oh and there will be a few surprises along the way ones that I know I truly enjoyed.

Two people come from two totally different worlds have now found there lives colliding. Was it fate and will Jasper and Muse find an HEA??
