Anna Kirby went to New York to escape heartbreak and have some fun. She wasn't meant to meet someone . . . someone like Ethan. Now, back in London, she's faced with another man to get over.
Ethan Scott broke every one of his rules during his week with Anna and now he can't seem to go back to life before her. A business trip to London gives him the opportunity to change his rules for good. Will he take it?
Autumn in London is the second part of The Empire State Series, a series of three novellas.

When I read the first book in this series by Louise Bay I thought it was just all right.  I liked it, I didn’t love it.  I thought sure I’ll check out the 2nd book in the series and see where things go.  I was pleasantly surprised with Autumn in London.  I do fell the story progression was better and I got a better feel for the characters.  We last left Anna and Ethan after a weeklong romance that was filled with a lot of hot sex and not much more.  Anna was in New York for only a week and they both agreed after that week, there would be no strings attached… if it could only be so easy.

Months have passed since Anna left New York and she was still could not shake the aftershocks that were Ethan Scott.  She immersed herself into her work and did nothing if anything else but work.  She had no social life and she had no interest in finding one.  No one could compare to Ethan so why try?  She went from a failed relationship with her fiancĂ© to whirlwind relationship with Ethan.

“I’d been hurt, but I’d just moved on.  Ethan on the other hand was following me around like ghost and I didn’t know how to shake him off”- Anna

Ethan had been working hard on the merger between two law firms, one in New York and the other in London. When the time came to announce the merger to the London law firm, he never thought she would be there.  He never imaged Anna being a part of his life again.  And now he had seen her again, there was no way he going to let her go again.  He would be in London for three months, and he would spend any minute in Anna if he could.

In just one week in New York they were lost in each other and now they would be together for three months.  What would happen when Ethan is scheduled to go back?  Could they keep their relationship a no strings attached arrangement?  Could both of their jobs be in jeopardy? I cannot wait to see how it all unfolds in the last book!  Autumn in London is a great steamy novella that will leave you wanting more Ethan and Anna!

“Ethan, even after a week I missed you when I came back to London.  How will I feel in three months when you go back to New York?”- Anna

Part 1 of The Empire State Trilogy
Released October 21, 2014

Anna Kirby is sick of dating. She's tired of heartbreak. Despite being smart, sexy, and funny, she's a magnet for men who don't deserve her.
A week's vacation in New York is the ultimate distraction from her most recent break-up, as well as a great place to meet a stranger and have some summer fun. But to protect her still-bruised heart, fun comes with rules. There will be no sharing stories, no swapping numbers, and no real names. Just one night of uncomplicated fun.
Super-successful serial seducer Ethan Scott has some rules of his own. He doesn't date, he doesn't stay the night, and he doesn't make any promises.
It should be a match made in heaven. But rules are made to be broken.
A Week in New York is the first part of The Empire State Series, a series of three novellas.

I write sexy, romantic, contemporary novels - the kind I like to read!

Ruined by romantic mini-series of the seventies and eighties, I love all things romantic. There's not enough of it in real life so I'll settle for books and films.

I love the rain, the West Wing, London, days when you don't have to wear make-up, being alone, being with friends, elephants and champagne.
