Since it's Thursday, I decided to do a little throwback and visit one of my all time favorite book series EVER!! I am talking ever... ever... ever!! They may be a little pricer than normal ebooks but they are so worth every penny! If you have not read this series, check them out! I've read the first two books three times each! They are just that good! <3 Jenn
Enigmatic and sexy, Professor Gabriel Emerson is a well-respected Dante
specialist by day, but by night he devotes himself to an uninhibited
life of pleasure. He uses his notorious good looks and sophisticated
charm to gratify his every whim, but is secretly tortured by his dark
past and consumed by the profound belief that he is beyond all hope of
redemption.
When the sweet and innocent Julia Mitchell enrolls as his graduate student, his attraction and mysterious connection to her not only jeopardizes his career, but sends him on a journey in which his past and his present collide.
An intriguing and sinful exploration of seduction, forbidden love, and redemption, Gabriel’s Inferno is a captivating and wildly passionate tale of one man’s escape from his own personal hell as he tries to earn the impossible—forgiveness and love.

Professor Gabriel Emerson has embarked on a passionate, yet clandestine
affair with his former student Julia Mitchell. Sequestered on a romantic
holiday in Italy, he tutors her in the sensual delights of the body and
the raptures of sex.
But when they return, their happiness is threatened by conspiring students, academic politics, and a jealous ex-lover. When Gabriel is confronted by the university administration, will he succumb to Dante’s fate? Or will he fight to keep Julia, his Beatrice, forever?
In Gabriel’s Rapture, the brilliant sequel to the wildly successful debut novel, Gabriel’s Inferno, Sylvain Reynard weaves an exquisite love story that will touch the reader’s mind, body, and soul, forever.

Professor Gabriel Emerson has left his position at the University of
Toronto to embark on a new life with his beloved Julianne. Together,
he's confident that they can face any challenge.
But Julianne's graduate program threatens Gabriel's plans for their life together, as the pressures of being a student become all consuming. When she is given the honour of presenting an academic lecture at Oxford, several individuals from their past appear, including an old nemesis intent on humiliating Julia and exposing one of Gabriel's darkest secrets.
In an effort to confront his remaining demons, Gabriel begins a quest to discover more about his biological parents - a search that has startling repercussions for himself and for Julianne.
Words cannot express just how much I adore this series. Tears... every time I read this series, it breaks me down to tears! I feel like I cannot breathe... I know what's coming next... I know who it ends... but every single time it just breaks me down!! You can find me in a corner with my kindle and a blanket swearing to Sylvain Reynard for making me feel like this every time! But gawh... I eat it up and I devour every little morsel of each book! I do love the first two books more than the last book. The series was orginally a two book series but the author wrote the last book for the fans. And I truely feel its a book for the fans. It doesn't have the same feel as the other books but still, I enjoyed it.
Professor Gabriel Emerson.... sigh... What is not to love about the damaged Professor that is all alpha male but still cultured and sexy as hell! He has always been at the top of my book boyfriend lists and every tall dark and handsome male model can easily be my Professor. Life wasn't always easy for Gabriel. He is adopted by a loving family but fights the demons. While going through college, he relied heavily drugs to get him through the rough times. But now being a top scholar and a Dante expert.
The lovely Julia... her best friend growing up was Gabriel's younger sister and Julia has always had a crush on him. He was the whole reason she wanted to study Dante and followed him to Toronto to go to school. One night in the apple orchard with Gabriel years ago had left a lastly impression on Julia and she has never been the same since. She knows they shared something special but little does she know Gabriel was high and does not remember her.
The road for Gabriel and Julia is not an easy one. He is her Professor and she is his student. The rules strictly forbid this relationship. Are they willing to risk to all to to feed the passion and love the feel for each other?? Can Gabriel be Julia's Dante and Julia be Gabriel's Beatrice??? Do you believe in true love and fate? It's a gripping and epic love story that I can never get enough of!!
5 huge stars for this amazing series!!
I'm interested in the way literature can help us explore aspects of
the human condition - particularly suffering, sex, love, faith, and
redemption. My favourite stories are those in which a character takes a
journey, either a physical journey to a new and exciting place, or a
personal journey in which he or she learns something about
himself/herself.
I'm also interested in how aesthetic elements
such as art, architecture, and music can be used to tell a story or to
illuminate the traits of a particular character. In my writing, I
combine all of these elements with the themes of redemption,
forgiveness, and the transformative power of goodness.
I try to
use my platform as an author to raise awareness about the following

Lemonade Stand, and Covenant House. For more information, see my Twitter
