Moving on doesn’t always have to mean goodbye.
Widowed makeup artist Jane Sullivan is more comfortable keeping her husband’s memory alive than dating a pool full of sharks. Ella, her 4 year-old daughter, is her whole world.
When Jane meets Lucas Oliver, famous cover model, it’s hate at first sight. His playboy persona rubs her the wrong way.
Accustomed to every woman fawning over him, Lucas is drawn to the shy, uncompromising single mom and completely melts at the sight of Ella. He is determined to convince Jane that sometimes a second chance can mend a broken heart.
When I first saw the title of this book Me Tarzan You Jane I will be honest and say I was a little skeptical about reading it, so I read the synopsis and I was like ok this really sounds like something I would enjoy...and I am hear to say a title of a book should never be the reason you don't read a book. No offense to the author at all but I honestly almost didn't read it because of that, but I will have to say I truly am mistaken and happy that I took a chance and read this book. I would give it a 3.5-4 stars. It is a standalone and doesn't leave you with a big cliffy so that is always a plus in my book! You will completely understand this title when you pick up this book, its not about a man in the jungle just about a man who thinks he is Tarzan so to speak and goodness gracious he is smoking hot!
Jane meets Lucas at a conference she is attending, she is a writer and entered into a contest and Lucas is a cover model for books. When they first meet she hates him and secretly wants to bed him. He is the most arrogant person she has ever met and of course he is the ultimate playboy but he is smoking hot. Jane doesn't have time for playboys she has a responsibility of taking care a daughter while struggling with the pain of losing her soul mate so she will push her intimate feelings for him to the back burner and go on about her life. When Jane and Lucas find themselves thrown together for work can they control there desire for one another or will they finally succumb to the desire? Can Jane every let herself love another man or will Lucas's past make it impossible for this when a twist comes out?
This book has a quirky romance with a twist of comedy, even though you will have your moments of laughing out loud you will also have your moments where the pages of your e-reader will be steamy!
This is the first book I have read by this author and look forward to much more.
I WRITE. I LIVE. I LOVE. I DREAM. I WRITE.
I’m a dreamer
I’m a sinner
I love my books
I conjure hooks
And heroes with good looks
Romance is my guilty pleasure
Taking me to places with new decor
Come join me if you dare
I promise not to bore
If you like to read my stories
Pray my husband continues snorin’
For he’s the one who keeps me up at night
When I give my heroes wings and flight.
