As Long As You Love Me is the second book in the 2B Trilogy and even though its part of a series it can be read as a standalone. I would recommend reading I Want It That Way the first book because you will get to meet Lauren in that book and have a little more understanding as to why she is where she is now, not only that you don't want to miss out on meeting the hot ginger TY! This book was told in Lauren's POV but you still get a little Rob POV thrown in there. I would give this book a 4 star, and I will continue to follow this trilogy because I can't wait for Max's story in The Shape Of My Heart.
Lauren has a problem with anxiety and it pushed her to leave college and move back home. She did some really stupid things and is ashamed of herself but is trying to pick up the pieces of her life and she knew she couldn't do that without the solitude of her home. Lauren is not the relationship type girl and she makes it a point to love em and leave em. As she is settling into her routine of her new life she finds herself running into a man from her past Rob-- her best friend Nadia's brother. This was the man she has lusted over for years but she was four years younger and felt like he always look at her as a little girl or even like a sister. What will happen when they start reconnecting? The only problem Rob has a girlfriend so all she can get now from him is friendship but she knows deep down for the first time that she wants more than just sex with a man.. and Rob is the man she wants. And when the GF is no longer a problem she will finally see that Rob may have always had a thing for her as well but never acted upon it.
I had never been a big snuggler, but maybe the wrong guys had been holding me. Up until this point, I didn't care to stick around after sex; I was always the one making an excuse and tiptoeing out before the sweat dried. Lauren will make him feel things he has never felt before and she also helps him build his business to the point that he is offered and amazing job.. but will this job be what breaks them.. Can love be enough to hold them together?
