Clouds In My Coffee
From Silent Whisper
"Hey handsome," I said with a smile, walking up to his tall, muscular frame, brushing his arm with my hand. He was sinfully gorgeous which made me wonder why the hell he felt like he had to pay for pussy in the first place. Hell, I'd fuck him for free just to brag that I had.
His mouth curved slightly, giving me a smile, while his rich voice acknowledged me with a word, "Karlie." I watched as his dark brown eyes flickered over me; and I sensed he approved of the clingy black dress I had chosen for this evening. He ran a hand through his wind-tousled dark hair, turning toward the staircase that led up to our rooms. He knew mine by heart.
I followed him silently up the carpeted staircase as I always did, checking out his backside appreciatively. He worked out. That had been obvious to me the first time I had enjoyed his naked body against mine. His sinewy muscles had flexed powerfully as he fucked me from behind, the mirrored wall of my room capturing it in full definition. I was awestruck; totally turned on by watching this man fuck me raw. Hearing his breath catch in his throat, his eyes squeezed shut tightly and his hoarse moans as he emptied his climax into me.
His sheathed cock had been mighty impressive as well. The thing about Nick that was so different from the other johns I fucked was that he actually cared about making sure I was pleasured. That was novel in this business. He also started paying for the entire night. He'd done that around the third time he'd visited Belle's. That wasn't common practice here, but hell, it was his $600 to spend any way he wanted.
It wasn't like he wanted to fuck all night either. I mean, we'd hit it two or three times, and afterwards, he'd pull me against him and we would sleep. Like a couple; like the way he probably slept with his wife back home, wherever that was.

REVIEW FOR SILENT WHISPER
Silent Whisper is the first book in the Limbo Series. I am a huge fan of Andrea Smith so I took a chance with this book and I was pleasantly surprised and would give this book a 4 stars. This was a romance but not like any other romance I have ever read. Andrea has always been known to me as writing some pretty hot and steamy reads and this one didn't disappointment in that department. It is basically about a girl who is touched per say and can help people in the after life that are stuck in between, who have unfinished business.
Parrish is a model and leads a pretty normal life. While on the way out of town Parrish is in an accident... and it will change her life forever. She finds herself face to face with a stranger Karlie.. not just a stranger but a ghost. She finds herself being transformed into this stranger and living her life from the past till the time she dies. This is the first time it happens to her and she doesn't know what to think but what she finds will ultimately change her views on her normal life and she will find secrets that she never knew existed.
Karlie was a mistress to a man name Nick. Nick's family is a big mob family and they have shady secrets. Karlie is determined to just stay the mistress but Nick is so hard to resist and finds herself falling in love with him. When Nick returns the love she thinks her world is finally perfect. She knows she will always be the mistress and she is ok with that for now.
The butterflies in my tummy, that had always been there, now seemed to be in a constant swarm whenever he looked at me, touched me, or God forbid--kissed me. And God, when he fucked me it was as if I simply melted into him and we became one. In fact, I would've been quite content if his dick never left my insides, I'd decided. We fit each other perfectly.-- KARLIE
Nick has fallen for his mistress, he never meant for that to happen but she could give him the life he has always wanted but in secret. His marriage is a farce and everyone knows it, but to save face and go along with his religious ways he can never get divorced. He can still see a future with Karlie and he wants a family with her too, but will she be willing to have that with him without the commitment. But when secrets come out and Karlie goes into hiding the only thing he can hope is that she is safe.... But will he ever see her again.. and will he ever find out Karlie has a secret as well?
And as long as she stayed wherever she was, she would have a future, even if it wasn't going to be with me. I would never have wanted to deny her that. She was the love of my life. No one would or could ever replace her in my heart. I knew this to be the truth. For now, I continued to hope and pray that time was on her side and on mine.-- NICK
When tragedy strikes and secrets are revealed, of course there is death.. but in the end can the Silent Whisper of a woman scorned and lost in the in between finally get her goodbye? And can the man that lost everything he has ever wanted truly find happiness?
Pick up this book and yes there are more to this series... I will be reading all the books that Andrea brings out in this series. Thanks again for a wonderful story... and don't worry everyone my review is vague but you will understand why I can't reveal to much because it would ruin the story.
REVIEW FOR CLOUDS IN MY COFFEE
Clouds In My Coffee was the second book in the Limbo Series. This series was a very different from the other books by Andrea Smith.. but I loved it non the less. It is a romantic suspense with a twist of something magical. I would give this book a solid 4 stars and would most definitely recommend it to everyone. Andrea has a serious talent for writing the sexy scenes but for me she has shown me a new side of her writing and makes me love her even more. This is a series and some may say they could be read as a standalone... I on the other hand say no way you should read the first book Silent Whisper because it will explain Parrish's special talent a little more and more about her past. Although this book it based some in the 1970's it will still pull you in and make you want to keep reading to find out all the secrets. And don't worry it has an epic love story involved as well!
Parrish was given a gift to help others they can't cross over she helped her mother and since then she has been guided by her mother to help another lossed soul. Cecily is the lost soul and she wants closure on what actually happened to her and Parrish will live her last days of her life and learn things about the 70's she never knew... but will she be able to help this soul like she did her mother? Parrish will find out that her special gift is something people won't take lightly but in the end it will turn out that she will find out who she can trust. After a devastation in her personal life she finds herself at a loss that is until the sexy Marco comes into the picture... they have instant chemistry and for once she feels like she can finally be herself not just a model. He will make her feel things she never has before but she knows its just a sexy fling... but will it turn into more? Can she keep helping lost souls and live her life too?? Will Marco be the man she needs him to be or is he just like all other men out there??
You have to go pick up this series... there is a little surprise with this book we get a little Taz and boy oh boy how I missed him! Thanks Andrea for another great read... Trey from your baby series will always be my favorite but Marco has a place in my heart as well! I can't wait for the 3rd book in this series Crimson & Clover.
